The incident happened at 11.37am yesterday shortly after the pilot landed the twin seater Cessna 150. The aircraft suffered minor damage when it overshot the runway. Geoff R. 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2008 Overshot? Really? The runway at Malacca is 1372 m long. You can land a Cessna 150 in 250 m. How do you get a landing that wrong? The Star report says "minor damage" - looking at the photo I don't think it is going to polish out! The tail looks bent and the landing gear I would say has not faired well. Anyway glad the pilot got out relativey unscathed. Geoff

Azuddin 1 Report post Posted July 1, 2008 I'm guessing landing in bad weather. Weather isn't good on the 29th. My dad was in Johor saying got hail (hujan batu) over the highway. Even my trip back to Melaka took 3 hours because of stormy weather which even shook our bus a few times. Azuddin
