In Japan they didn't understand what camera cleaning was due to their really bad English language skills. First thing I'll do when I get home is take camera away! Then my aircraft for my flight to Kuala Lumpur. Is it Korean Air? No it is not! Is it.... Yes it is! I hope you enjoyed! Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 As I am busy sorting out my holiday pictures I want to show you some more and first starting with trip AMS-HEL-HKG and spotting in HKG. Flight was OHLXM A320 from AMS to HEL. Flight HEL-AMS was with OH-LGB. During taxi out to RWY 24 I saw the last Martinair aircraft in OC (PH-MCL) on the D2 gate with 2 sisterships in NC. After takeoff RWY 24 and banking a good opportunity to make shots of EHAM/AMS. You have a twin brother Pieter who joined me on LXM to HEL? On approach to 22R in HEL with still here and there some snow in Finland. Had to wait on the taxiway as you can see on the screen an E170 of Finnair arrived and we had to give way to her. Just half an hour to do some spotting in HEL and nicest aircraft I saw was a Dutchman. Finally boarded OH-LGB, which is now again wearing Moomings livery. From our ship seen sistership OH-LGD. During my walk to Regal Airport Hotel I was shocked to see this much taxi's! And also on the right on other side of railroad again the same amount of cabbies! Here my large hotelroom or can I call it a suite? View from my room over the terminal on the very very busy cargo appron. Other side of room I could see the entire 07L-25R runway! Took those shots out of my room: PH-BFU Also some shots I posted before of Wunala Dreaming etc. were taken out of my room. Finnish friend: A bad one at really foggy day but Royal one came in from BKK. Shot of terminal YOu cannot see in but see all things outside make a nice peace of art. Two skippies, one came in 07L, other one departing 07L. What was Icelandair doing in HKG? I guess she's been leased out to Air Niugini and now reade for ferryflight back to KEF. Must be TF-FII as I saw this one in 2007 in the same livery in AMS. In front of maintenance area seen from B-16301 while waiting for taxi-back after tech. failure on my flight to TPE where I've never been this holiday Shots of both Tokyo airport follow hopefully. As the memory card with my best Tokyo shots broke down I can not show you a lot of shots from NRT/HND. Some more shots of my flightback from HKG to HEL and AMS follow as well later on this week. One room had clean windows other one dirty Windows can not be opened and double windows with 5-10 centimeters distance bad for reflection. Can try as well to do spotting out of corridor next to the rooms also facing the same airport Double window but no distance between and more clean Rooms: 1040 or 1044 or 1142. Level 11 doesnt have corridor view because of very big suite at that point. Rooms facing the RWY 25R end is okay but can do that better from outside or Term.2 roof terrace. Banking shots with a little more zoom then 300mm you get really good shots! Goodbye airplane! Here my final contribution of this year. Only on request I will supply some more. HKG-HEL-AMS on Finnair MD-11 OH-LGA and Embraer 170 OH-LEE. Departing 07R in HKG City of HKG. Interior of OH-LGA Don't you just love a wing with a winglet as beautiful as this! APP into HEL First 2 MD11's for Aeroflot Cargo! Ex Varig I believe. And that airline is also still operating DC10 but soon going to be replaced. Antonov flies into HEL now and then this one is EW-246TG probably getting in from Minsk. Juster after takeoff in OH-LEE Back in Amsterdam after a very smooth flight with Amsterdam skies fully loaded with arriving aircraft for Schiphol Airport.
