Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 I remembered back in early 80's, flight from Prestwick, Scotland to New York only 99pound, in L1011/DC10 of Laker's Airways... Great shots of the AK-X A330, Norman; you were able to 'shoot' a new aircraft for a Malaysian airline at the same date/time as I was able to for a new aircraft of a Dutch airline (although in AF colours)... AFAIK, Laker Airways never operated the L1011, but the DC-10-10/30 as a tri-jet only Other types were Bac 1-11, A300 and Boeing 707-100/300's...

Norman 1 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 Read in another forum that XAA is leaving to MAN in couple of days taking among others... MYTeam players... Anyone can confirm this 'news'?
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 Anyone can confirm this 'news'? Norman, Can confirm AK is expected again in a few days @ MAN, however, no aircraft-type was mentioned Might aswell be Fox-Charley again
Victor A. 2 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 can she fly to MAN with MyTeam players if she haven't got her certification by DCA? anyway, how many times do she need to go for test flight before she can be certified by DCA?
Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 Putting 2 and 2 together i'd say the test flight take place over the next couple of days, so certification is recieved an AK can fly -XAA thru to Manchester.

Victor A. 2 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 (edited) nice catch there rafael. anyway, were you the one who came in the volvo this afternoon? i'll bet there will be a number of spotters on duty this weekend. since XAA would be continuing with her test flight (provided DCA doing OT).
