Spotting on 12th September 2006 afternoon.

The fasting month is fast coming, so I had to do some spotting before I have a long lay-off. Was with a friend who wanted to see for himself my new crazy hobby.

First, Mas Kargo 747

KLM touched down in crosswind. lucky you maarof. ramadhan coming :( . so night spotting would be the only safest alternative as devil is locked up.

This single runway operation is a serious special for spotters.

Either Morning for Nose shots...and afternoon for touchdown and take off shots.

14L wont stay that long...as i can remember...by Oct, wind changes direction for the

"winter" in Malaysia...32Right will be back in place.

Which is a norm on certain days...i had done dep and landing on 32R :)

as for now...try and get as much as we can...By January 2007, 14R/32L is not the best offer in town for Morning spotting!!!

salute to MH workhorse!! :)

I'm stil waiting for 3 things to happen simultaneously:

1. Runway 32R

2. Good clear weather

3. Off day

So far hasn't happen yet.

I am not worried so much about wind direction changes or the Malaysian winter. I am more worried about the coming fasting month, whether I have the energy to go for day spottting or not. So here are whatever left of 14L from me.

You can really make excellent 'night' shots of KLM (and maybe still OS) aircraft: bring your tripod, though ;)

Thanks Pieter, might just do that.

Concluding the series.....

From Bangladesh, Biman A310. Did MAS once use this kind of plane?

IPB Image

I have been looking for this plane, because the the registration MPS is also the intials for my place of work.

IPB Image

Another MASkargo, this time with blue engines.

IPB Image

For Pieter, KLM Asia leaving

IPB Image

Another Singapore triple coming

IPB Image

And my spotting won't be complete without our own 777

IPB Image

That's all until the next spotting, whenever that it.
