Samuel Chy 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2018 That picture shows me another reason why a move to Kimanis is not necessary - where is the congestion ?! evening and midnight perhaps? or after airport closure for bad weather
Kenny Sing 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2018 should put the old T2 for a better use instead, that will able to ease up the congestion. another idea is expand the apron and use airside transfer, it's nothing new in other country. but in malaysia we rarely seen that happening. T2 can actually be the remedy for future lack of parking spaces at T1 later on. MAHB can order a fleet of airport buses to transport pax from T1 to their aircraft parked at T2. Mushrif A 3 Report post Posted August 23, 2018 I think this big ship is one of the smaller carriers. It looks like USS Essex, an amphibious assault ship. Didnt the US have some joint military exercises recently in the east coast of Sabah?

Didnt the US have some joint military exercises recently in the east coast of Sabah? in fact it's USS Essex (LHD-2). if bigger, i think it's quite hard to get so close to the shore... Waiping 12 Report post Posted August 23, 2018 Yup this is smaller. More of a landing support craft as oppose to CVN-74 that came a few years ago.
