LaurieB 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 MIR, SS Lee, thanks. Wasn't expecting the GLEX. Doesn't show up on FR24 like most other arrivals. Only managed to catch a Longbow Apache once at PEN. That was in March 2013 when it arrived en-route to LIMA 13.

SS Lee 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2014 (edited) Continuing from the previous session IMG_8505 by sslee86, on Flickr Tigerair (9V-TAW) IMG_8536 by sslee86, on Flickr Sriwijaya Air (PK-CKP) IMG_8559 by sslee86, on Flickr Mobile App ad on Airasia's A320 (9M-AFW) IMG_8565 by sslee86, on Flickr Airasia with sharklets (9M-AQW) - Getting more and more of these coming in IMG_8585 by sslee86, on Flickr Malindo's latest ATR72 (9M-LML) IMG_8621 by sslee86, on Flickr UPS B767-300ER (N356UP) Finally glad to catch this. I saw this coming from a distance, and was real cloudy. A hole in the clouds allowed sun to shine through. Though the moving speed of the open patch of sun was moving faster than the approach speed of the UPS Freighter, hence the dark shot. IMG_8639 by sslee86, on Flickr And to end it all, here's Silkair's second 738 (9V-MGB). No closeup shots as they were all dark. Thanks for viewing. Have a great weekend. SS Lee 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2014 Same one, wow. Looks like a very looong return trip haha. Though I seriously doubt it was in China for that long. Must have bounced around at other regions before making a stop in Penang.
MIR 2 Report post Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Atlas Air N476MC departed PEN for PVG earlier today, around 0900 as EY9973. This bird is quite frequent to Malaysia, it's also the same aircraft which transported the Red Bull Air Race planes and Formula 1 cars.
