Mohd Suhaimi Fariz 2 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 If I'm not mistaken life jackets have a shelf life. Since from what I can tell it was manufactured in 1992, perhaps it's expired and have been disposed of?

Y. J. Foo 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 Sorry but I didnt see the bit on the person removing any life jackets...just a life jacket put on sale. If it's put on sale on an auction site, regardless of its status (active, disposed or otherwise), you still need to wonder how he got hold of the jacket in the first place. Inside job perhaps? Cire 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2013 The person who put it up for sale is one daring person indeed. Either h/she is so obcessed with the novelty of the item so much so h/she's forgotten the consequences of selling such item. Anyway, just don't buy it. The stealing stops when the buying stops. Cire 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2013 With some Chinese carriers, don't bother - it's not there to start with Seriously? I would have thought it is a standard operating procedure to have all the safety equipment check preflight.
