Naim 6 Report post Posted November 25, 2012 Found this on the web, I wonder what plane ... Btw, why don't we have sideway seats on commercial planes too? Would TF be interested? ===
Waiping 12 Report post Posted November 25, 2012 C-5 maybe? Read somewhere that sideways seats are not economically viable but the survival rate in the crash is much higher.

Timothy 1 Report post Posted December 1, 2012 hope the weapons + helmets are just there for the photoshoot and not compulsory to literally "hand carry" throughout the flight.

I think it's rear facing seats that have a better survival rate, but pax acceptance issue scuttled any chance of fitting it on commercial planes

Maybe not ideal configuration for efficient discharge of those anciliary-revenue generating activities on board Seeing that vast empty void above pax already accomodated, potential is there for more fare paying pax or cargo to be fitted in And all those bulky (and presumably heavy) outfits worn by all, that is going to increase fuel burn - give them an option, fly naked or pay to be decently attired (hey, don't like it - go fly with the legacies. It's your choice)

BC Tam 2 Report post Posted December 4, 2012 claustrophobia... anyone? In real life, those chaps would be not too far away from jumping straight into combat - meaning they either kill or be killed Either way, claustrophobia probably pales in significance
