Radzi 2 Report post Posted February 16, 2006 Wah, Norman you were around? I was on airport standby today, so I told crewing I'll be at ODC in 15 minutes notice. Then I went to our spotting places. Early on it was 14L in use, so I stay in the car near the lake. By about 8 am the runway was changed to 32, so at 9 am, I went to the hill betting that I will not be called up. (My standby period was 6 to 10) Being thursday, 32L was closed at 11 am so landings were in front of the hill. Nice! I stay until Lion arrived at about 1 pm, after that I felt hungry and went back. Was at 32L for half-hour only (as per topic) from 0945 to 1015 Didn't visit the hill since waiting to pickup Sis-in-law & family... so had only 5min notice BTW how nice to spot while on standby... got paid for spotting... This particular one is just by the roadside (Jalan Pekeliling) Just drive on from F1 towards cargo complex, then further up till you see the aircraft landing (provided 32L is active for arrivals) Morning... West side of ext centre line Afternoon...
