Rozhan 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2009 Went for LIMA on 4th Dec but found this was the most interesting aircraft at LGK that day, although not part of the exhibit. Very clean, very shiny Magnificent pictures there guys! Now where is the B-52?
Naim 6 Report post Posted December 10, 2009 Went for LIMA on 4th Dec but found this was the most interesting aircraft at LGK that day, although not part of the exhibit. Very clean, very shiny ... Hehehe ... this plane actually landed late afternoon on 02/12 to deposit the owner, who walked right past us (waiting to board return flight to KUL) with Najib and the goon squad, then took off again soon after. Initially I thought it was one of the regular B767 until I saw the 'HM Sultan's Flight' crest by the door. Glad nobody stopped me from taking pictures from various angles as I walked past, not even the tech crew who was doing the walkaround. Had only about 4 hours to spend at LGK. Indoor exhibition was noticably quiete that day. My favourite was EADS' booth which had loads of Airbus publications given away to visitors.

Norman 1 Report post Posted December 11, 2009 Hi Uncle Norman, may i ask what shutter speed u used for those pix? Shutter speed varies, Waiping... depending on type of shots. I shoot using aperture priority, and will close down the aperture for choppers and props so that I get the spinning blades rather than frozen ones with high shutter... Normally for choppers I'd go between 1/125s to 1/200s and for fast jets... 1/500sec and above... With Giro or Lt Col Muhammad Norazlan Aris, Executive Office Sqn 11, Sukhoi SU-30MKM Syakir, Me, Maj Mantan, Syahmi (my eldest) and Capt Fendi (Mantan's WSO) The poster that all of them autographed... ---
iwan 3 Report post Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) wahhh!!!nice poster!!didnt get much goodies this time around..got a poster of the Gripen NG..that guy at the SAAB booth was really nice.. here are some of my shots..arrived on wednesday night,2nd december.was lucky enough to board this beautiful plane! this first few pics were taken from the field opposite the main terminal on thursday 3rd december. @norman couldnt get any good cockpit shots from this side either with my 'cute' lenses.. typical MiG-29N pose third MiG-29N taking off real quick aermacchi didnt look as interesting in the gray scheme if u ask me.. F-16 taking off love the condensation on the wings. F-111 aadvark the best looking plane ive ever set eyes on.. the only good shot of the cockpit i had..the MkM flew unbelievably close and was too fast for me to zoom out on time..could have made a good picture but well..slow hands..maybe next time.. Tamizi Hj Tamby 1 Report post Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) Iwan, nice photo of ALA(French Air Force) A310 and WestStar Group B732.Not to forget the Singaporean F50 too. About the N413JG,from what i've checked at A.net,it was previously operated by American West Airlines as N137AW,LADECO of Chile as CC-CYV,and lastly to Westjet Canada as C-FLWJ,before being converted to BBJ configuration. Sam,It's 'Republic of Singapore Air Force',not 'Royal'. Edited December 11, 2009 by Tamizi Hj Tamby
