Greg Wood 3 Report post Posted March 11, 2009 (edited) Kianhong, Excellent work! Some of the best night photos Ive seen for a long time.Your effort & time taken is appreciated, she looked magnificent overflying and oh so quiet. The C-17 departed today 11.03.09 at 10.05hrs (WST) for Woomera (South Aust) as flight RRR6838 (Ascot 6838). Wouldn't be half suprised if she returns back tommorrow, but then again you never know. kianhong 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2009 Oh yes ... Pink Pigeon as Xanadu 2717. Great to see the Air Mauritius A343 in daylight. With a stroke of luck, it was delayed by 20mins and departed around 0725LT. Thanks Liam & Sri Ramani for the heads-up. Long take off roll with 6kts downwind. Runway changed after this pigeon airborne. Some other 'pening' (panning) birds caught before the sunrise. EK425 for Dubai. Romeo Golf as good as new with the new paint. Virgin from South America! Thanks for viewing. Cheers.

kianhong 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2009 good news kianhong, she's scheduled to operate ALL the PER sectors, so choose when you feel like shooting her. managed to get a closeup on the decals above D2L & D4L? Hehe... I guess i won't be going to catch this same bird again anytime soon. Have been spending too much time in PER. <_ actually it was just plain lucky to get with first light due some delay at holding point. as we move towards autumn and winter daylight will be shorter which means getting more difficult catch d7 departure> Any significant regarding the decals above D2L & D4L? Lucky bastards! Getting an MK A340 to Kuala Lumpur with Air Asia X in-flight service. Go try your luck if don't mind waking up early in the morning.
