Guys,

 

Here are some pictures taken today of a day-trip to Schoenefeld-airport to see the Belavia An24...

 

General overview of the B-pier (Schengen flights): nice but freezing weather...

 

Nice sunrise when taxying out to runway 24...the Tristar in front of the hangar is wfu and will be scrapped soon

 

Just airborne from runway 24: this is the freight-area with China Southern 744F

 

Ah moi serving my snack...sorry, due to low light and no flash she's blurred

 

Air-Berlin snack: salami-sandwich, coffee and water, all for "free"

 

Overflying old collective-farm (kolchoz) in the outskirts of Berlin (former GDR)

 

the shadow of the plane is "following us" (visible just under the outer-flaps)

 

While returning from Schoenefeld airport to Tegel airport, I passed Tempelhof airport

 

This one is specially taken for Azahan: football-nose of Lufthansa B737-500.

 

Approaching runway 18C after sunset: this is the city of Beverwijk with "Northsea Canal"

No problems with the batteries this time, despite the cold weather

Emptied them and than recharged them again 1 night before departure...

 

Enjoy your stay in ZRH...will be back there 21jan06
