  1. The rumour going around is that Gading Sari has started using Neptune Air as their carrier for the Poslaju contract. 9M-NEP was seen doing the early morning flights out while 9M-NEA was seen in SAE hangar undergoing C chk in KUL.
  2. Just head over to the LCCT at night, when all the A320s are back for nightstop. You have an average of 9 to 10 of them arriving per hour from 10pm onwards. So much so that now there are parking bays on a taxiway (Lima to be exact). That is after positioning 3-4 a/cs in the hangar. It is no easy job repositioning 20-30 a/cs every night bro. You have to be working there to feel the pinch of not having enough parking bays.
  3. Everyone might have been wondering what TF's tweet was all about eh? Simple. LCCT was filled with staff wearing these stickers and badges. MAHB's simple way of overcoming it; give me your airport pass OR remove it. What a world.
  4. 9M-AQF is ex PK-AXQ (4582) and 9M-AQE is ex PK-AXP (4571). 4969 is yet to be delivered.
  5. Rob, 750272 is 9M-AQE and 75027E is 9M-AQF. Flee, you pretty much got the connections right.
  6. Was told that MPD was grounded in PEN for a few days and probably that spoiled the whole party?
  7. Have seen a mix of KLM Cargo and Martinair operating into KUL over the past two weeks. Any confirmation from your side Uncle Pieter?
  8. Bad WX in KUL. If you see them landing in SZB, then it means that they need to refuel lah, except for the 97** flights.
  9. Confirmed bro 73-1677 landed in KUL. Currently parked at the cargo bay beside MASKargo complex.
  10. List of confirmed participants & list of a/c for the aerobatic display as of the time this is published. http://filesocial.com/hcoiz4
  11. And I believe this is not the first incident in these few months. Know of 2 other carriers to have suffered the same damage within the space of a few months.
  12. Great to see the Wedgetail also took part in the exercise! Rare species indeed!
  13. Thanks for info MIR. LX-VCB also visited KUL yesterday.
  14. Other updates. Biman will operate 77W from DAC to KUL 3 weekly from 30th Oct till 15 Dec and twice weekly from 19 Dec till 30 Jan. For spotters, guess the only thing to hope is for a delay. http://airlineroute.net/2011/10/12/bg-kul-w11/
  15. SHAH ALAM: A pilot and his assistant cheated death by making an emergency landing at a mangrove swamp in Kg Assam Jawa, Kuala Selangor near here after their aircraft developed mechanical problems. Kuala Selangor police chief Supt Mohd Taib Ahmad said in the 3pm incident, a Socata TB-10 Tobago GT aeroplane piloted by Abdul Rais Saad, 45, and his assistant, Parvinder Pal Singh, 21, was on its way back to the Subang Airport. The aircraft owned by ESB Aeroclub Subang was flying around the Sekinchan area when it encountered problems, he told Bernama. The pilot managed to contact the Bukit Aman Control Centre Operations Room to inform them of his position. Upon the emergency landing, the two managed to save themselves from the aircraft, which was buried up to the cockpit in the mangrove swamp. "Both the victims walked about 500 metres to a prawn farm near the crash site before being assisted by farm workers," he said. Police brought them to the Tanjong Karang Hospital for examination and treatment, he said. BERNAMA

  23. I was told it is 9M-MPD, the bird that was leased to Al-Wafeer air.
  24. That particular one hour plus occured circa 4-5.30pm. Don't forget that the a/c is not only doing the RGN sector, many other sectors before that. I believe not only AK had this problem on that very day.
  25. It was not the rain that did it. It was the weather that did so. Airport had NO landings for over an hour and many a/cs that were enroute had to take diversion to PEN/JHB/KCH while waiting for the weather to clear up. Trust me the number of diversions were huge on that day and having to continue the next sector after that (which is already delayed) and the other remaining sectors of the day, many of the aircrafts would have arrived at 6/7AM the next day. There were many flights yesterday that went with a P in the callsign.
