  1. IAAX aircrafts will be used on MAA routes such as macau, Maldives, colombo and another one i could not remember.
  2. ERL under YTL is doing just fine. They dont need rescueing unline those days when STAR and PUTRA lrt need to be taken over and put under one umbrella. If it aint broke, dont fix. Well of course the fare structure and gradual hikes according to concession agreement can always be renegotiated.

  4. I believe Scoot can withstand the fluctuations of oil price given their latest aircraft has better fuel economy over NokScoot's old 777 and AirAsia X's A333. A333 works fine within 9 hour range but beyond that they cant beat 787.

  8. B737 have ashtrays on both side of the cockpit (capt and fo) so it is perfectly safe to smoke in the cockpit. Its just airline policy to make the world smaller for smokers.

  13. But the 330F is based on A330-200 right. The p2f will surely have more load. Whatever it is, the second hand value of A333 will be better when they have options what to do with it, scrap it or punch a whole and make it a freighter

  16. I never get it why people bought so much CM's having an affair with cabin crew. He's in the aviation business for so long, sure he met all kind of cabin crews be it male or female from all over the world. Why would he fall for one of the MAS' crew is all beyond me. And to a man of his calibre and all the money he has, why would he risk it for someone 'temporary'? He can have it today and next day he can forget. No offense but the gossip is just plain bull
  17. My personal opinion : just keep Malindo brand and develop it, rather than changing it to Batik which have 'exceptional' safety record
  18. IAAX 330s stays in Indonesia. The AOC may gone soon but they are merging the operations. Fully loaded plane and traffic right to Jeddah is too precious to let go.

If TF were to go ahead with construction of Labu East i am 1000% sure he will quit halfway, government have to bail it out with taxpayers money, we gonna end up with two different airports so close to each other and it will beat the purpose of positioning KLIA as regional hub. Swear by my stray dog the idea was good but how sincere was TF and KM intention to get it done using AiAsia and Sime Darby's money? They barely got their house in order this quarter, airline business is fragile. How much cash they need to fund such a large infrastructure project? Ironic eh, talking about 'cost is enemy' mantra whilst digging deep into reserve to fund an airport project. Labu East was never meant to be materialised. Just another dirty cheap tricks by TF to get attention. So does this renaming of LCCT2 whatnots. Dont get me wrong i admire what he did so far in Malaysian aviation but at times he went too far. We're not stupid. But some people still believe their stupid arguments.
