  1. He's gonna say yes after all. Don't think he wanna play it hard and stay at the warehouse while all his competitors (Mandala, Tiger, Cebu Pac, Air Phil Express) moved to the new terminal which give them good advantage.
  2. any idea where she went? B734 really make a good cargo aircraft.
  3. They cancelled it right? Ordered 2 or 3 with 1 already snapped by a Hong Kong operator. Guess they are still looking for suitors. I reckon it wont be long because the type is really in demand now.
  4. actually it's even better if you're late, in terms of exercise...
  5. More capacity for KUL - CDG. With MH will be using A380 on the route, makes me wonder is European crisis seeing light at the end of the tunnel?
  6. They are more concerned about the happenings in Kelantan, Kedah, Penang and Selangor water 'crisis'. Don't think they are first to get the news. If not it will make to the newswire later today.
  7. I'd rather wait until end of 2013...than risking my life walking under leaking ceiling that can collapse anytime..
  8. There're 2 FY jets parked there for quite sometime already.. Heard it's being used on Christmas Island and Nanning charter.
  9. today they put up signages to 'klia2' at new ramp leading to the airport.
  10. Both crew names sounds European, at least. Guess it's 'standard' briefing....
  11. If people gonna pay for it, why bother digging into his deep pockets? It always have been like that, he's White Rajah.
  12. Resurrection of sort, although R mentor is still alive and popular, and living comfortably on national treasure while the rest of the country struggling make ends meet...
  13. enjoying his time in F1 while employees not getting their dues for months...
  14. hahaha.. some tweak to the numbers and 6 tickets combinations..who knows you might hit the jackpot.
  15. This is really rent seeking and corporate extortion finest example. Who would in the right mind signing a contract that was that long? Apart from highway and power generation business.
  16. heard cabin crew already trained on A330.
  17. If distance to the runway for takeoff was his main concern, then choosing CGK for his long term Indonesian home might not be wise move after all. He's only there to make some noises, complaints here and there, but alas it's a good thing. Help keep the Gov and MAHB on their toe.
  18. Curent landing and take off at KUL have benefited AK mostly. Most of the times, in 12 months, i'd say 8 months the landing would be on 32L and 32R and departure is 32R. Departing from 32R only required short taxi to A11 or A10, MH have been taxying to A11 or A9 from MTB which is quite a distance and never complaint. Now that MAHB is building a new runway next to his KLIA2 terminal that might get completed few months from initial operating date of KLIA2 and they already trying to make a big fuss about it. Landing 32L and taxying to LCCT is much shorter than landing on 32R before going off on A5 then back to LCCT. The most economical for AK would be take off 32R and land 14L. But TF can't have all things come into play the way he always want it. Why not build his own airport and a terminal parallel to the runway so after pushback they can roll straight into take off position and off they go. He has to accept things for now and charge passenger for extra taxi if he wants it. Dont remind me of their Labu plan. Everyone knows it's conceived to pile pressure on Gov and MAHB for speedier completion date of KLIA2 and not to put aerodbridge there so that his competitor wont have a choice (Tiger, Cebu Pacific, Airphil, Lion, Malindo).
  19. it's nice to be 'reminded' isn't it. Ever wonder life without AirAsia? 'Kini masa balas budi'
  20. Simulator hardly replicate operational routes. What TG and SQ did was the crew to familiarize with operational requirements. Real traffic, real loads, real routes, real weather and real ground movement. Well this come from my limited experience. Modern sims i heard, can have RT for various situations. It's all up to operators i think. Maybe in MH all ground staff were all prepared with the handling and all.. maybe in TG they can afford to put the Bus on short routes to gauge their operational ability.
  21. Off course they have to run with subsidies for interior routes into the jungle. But creating another brand would be a mess for MAS. They can just capitalise on MasWings or Firefly. Firefly, despite comunity airline tagline, is a low cost. Maswings brand should be brought over to cover entire MH narrow body fleet and rural air service.
  22. It's amazing how thousands of timber turn into an expensive aircraft. We need to be proud of this achievement.
  23. perhaps this is one last hurrah for defense contracts middlemen.
  24. Still have the thick face to celebrate downward achievement?
