Jetstar TO from rwy 20 ANZ 767 with winglet, lucky managed to catch this one Close-up 737 ANZ coming for approach rwy29 with high-cloud background Next come the Jetstar PacifcBLue coming down to rwy 02 Cheers..

Nice pictures Ashmil, from the tower some more... Make me really miss my hometown ... everytime the plane come for approach, I can see my old kampung house at Kg Pantai Johor on the left...

My first ever experience sitting on pilot chair, USAF C17 some more.. The previous exp. was only on MH 747 jumpsit during cockpit visit while it was flying over Pacific from LAX to Subang. Yup.. Still with 738 Norman.. , or other option A320. (we'll do serious talk on this ) Not really into military planes though c17 cockpit look cool with glass cockpit + HUD + middle stick..

These are few shots on Sept 28 during the Antartic Festival 08 @ International Antartic Center , Christchurch NZ. This was the opportunity too take a close look at this giant C-17. This plane just recently made a historic night landing on antartic using night vision goggles ( open up more frequent flight in / out of antartica) This machine flies to/fro between Christchurch and the US McMurdo Base on Antarctica The Tail Close-up on the awesome engine People line-up to peek into the cockpit to be cont'ed

I'm a Kedahan, but I'll say no. Would love to see 747 coming but better stick to PEN. I reckoned it was more of political thing than to see from economic or technical feasibility. Every state want to compete to be the best of everything and the must have of everything. Remember the Kedah Maju 20xx or Selangor Maju 20xx.. thing.

Agree with option 3 as well, quite a tight turn for 747 to the left for 2nd flypast Would be nice to see a video shot for that day..

Yesterday about 800am , for about 20 - 30 mins or so, heard more than 8 of ambulance and police cars passed by my house. (anyway, my house is just 1km away, main road leading to NZCH) Thought it must be something serious. Never thought it was about the hijacking until I heard about it on the radio. It was a bit of chaos as I passed by the airport (after send my kids off to school). Police closed / divert the road leading to the terminal. Managed to get a glimpse of RWY29 from far, saw airport fire engine standingby on the taxiway. Heard snipers all over the place.Well they are all prepared if this kind of thing were to happen. This must be the NZ first aircraft hijacking in history.. and it was by a Somalian woman. No air traffic in/out of NZCH during those time, not quite sure how long it was closed. Anyway, good to hear the pilots were OK and manage to bring the plane down safely. Tarmizi Christchurch

Choong, No holiday la... come to one year now in Chch. My wife doing her study at Canterbury. Waaa few years to go. Miss kari nasi Kandar... Meor, Project 737NG sudah tersadai. Or may be just start the overhead panel here. The rest may be continue once I'm back in Malaysia

My next flight on AK is 2 Langkawi next Tuesday. Hopefully no delay. Not the 2 or 5 hrs delay. + with the kids / baby. Anyway how many AK got for spare aircraft, it was just a chain reaction since the same aircraft is used for multiple routes...Land, pick up passengers, and off again.. One leg delayed, the rest got delayed.. Just want to hear what Transport Minister has to say, last time was all the hu ha on airlines suppose to submit weekly reports on flight delays...
