  1. Yea, it took off yesterday morning in subang airport and also this morning
  2. F50 is one of the best turboprop aircraft compared with others, especially the preset configuration such as TO/GA, CLB, CRZ, etc, on the panel which makes f50 doesn't require prop condition lever. As of others, they are still need the conventional way. FAX currently now will face difficulties in looking for suppliers of F50 and DHC 6 maintenance centre as MAS f50 and dhc 6 have been took back by DCA. Sorry, forgot to add on, hehehe, F50 and ATR, both are using the same series of engine which is PW100 series. f50 can fly 25,000 ft while atr72 around 18,000 ft, if I'm not mistaken
  3. Hi hi, thanks Not really, just one of the tame trainee
  4. As you can see from the photos, there are some MAS ground crew operating it, this is because FAX and MAS has signed an agreement which MAS will operates the aircraft in term of flight crews and ground crews for a year including maintenance and overhaul at Subang Airport and BKI. But then, recently, MAS F50 approval has been pulled back due to MAS no more owning them and FAX has to find other supplier or build their own maintenance facilities. Last week, FAX F50, 9m-mgd flew to subang airport due to some technical faulty from bintulu.
  5. TAME programme is following the syllabus which the DCA Malaysia still implementing known as BCAR Section L issue 13, list of the syllabus required can be found in the publication in Section L. Although BCAR will become obselete sometime 2008, but DCA will still implementing it unless they are converting to EASA. One of the reasons LAE has night shift due to aircraft night stops, you can do functional check on the aircraft systems and some simple maintenance checks or maybe rectifying the defects. Not all airports in Malaysia has hangars, so, not all ASU can do A, B, and C checks. Normally like night shift in ASU Sabah and Sarawak not that much but you can claim overtime a lot.
  6. Yo guys, you all know what? RMAF F-18 A/D cannot go for war or dogfight as they are not equiped with any ammos, they only get the aircraft but without ammo, currently one grounded in kch rmaf hangar due to no spare, US government doesn't allow boeing to supply malaysia the F-18 spares, so, currently they only use for patrol...
