  1. you got a point here.... anyway let their flight planner do the calculation, they surely know how to play around with the numbers especially MAHB will be lowering the landing and parking charges per the stimulus package.
  2. wasn't a bad thing afterall, though i wasn't live in KK but i still prefer the tranquil KK before the insurgence of PRCs and Koreans. never the less, they will return someday when this virus thing is over.
  3. they always lobby for T2 expansion as T2 operating model is easier for AK, think about KKIA T2 is KLIA LCCT at a smaller scale. this virus thing gonna be temporary, end of the day when the tourist volume returns, everything will back to usual business
  4. KKIA T2 is famous for jam everywhere, from inside out. if you have weather related diversion and when the weather recovers and all the diverted flights coming in, fuh! you even have aircraft holding at taxiway to wait for their turn! Now after consolidation into T1, no more, but then, AK still use T1 as a reason of their slow expansion for BKI, i have no idea why they said so.
  5. that's why. anyway, like you said, the unlimited flypass could be a fund raising effort to secure some instant money and bolster themselve for lower passenger volume due to COVID-19. WIn win situation actually, passenger flies unlimited time without paying the fare and other additional charges are collected by airliner. wasn't too bad at all. But seriously, i think they should consider to deploy their A333 like the KUL-SIN model to routes like KUL-BKI, KUL-DPS, KUL-PEN and/or any routes that they have high pax loads
  6. yeah, that's why i said probably a norm for MAHB to operate the terminal beyond the design capacity before they really into the serious consideration of securing funding and expansion plan.
  7. with the effect of COVID-19, maybe their fleet plan might change again
  8. no funding maybe? or probably it is a "norm" for MAHB to operate the airport beyond designed capacity for their airports to make it a stress test for their design, LOL, take a look on previous KKIA T2, PIA now.
  9. limited route, limited seats, and to spice things up, maybe only valid for ex KUL flight, meaning you gotta pay full fare on return (if the assumption on ex KUL is correct). i wonder letting them to fly some high load route will able to help their numbers? like KUL-DPS, KUL-BKI, KUL-PEN, the (profit sharing) operating model of KUL-SIN
  10. i think we need to cutoff any other off topic discussion and just focus on MH17 related matters.
  11. did your salary going down on yearly basis?
  12. will like to see MH back to the old glory days.
  13. such strategy must be gaining traction for domestic travel hence they introduce it to the broader scope, but i wonder how the yield looks like under such pricing mechanism.
  14. MOF is very well verse in PPP, Private Partnership Program, like the Kulim Airport project. Government no need to pay a single cent (kononnya). Or maybe invite some big economy power to join the project like the previous gomen did. LOL.
  15. typical reaction for so called P&C information getting leaked.
  16. later AAGB follow the foot step of khazanah issue lawyer letter to focus malaysia. 😂
  17. the passenger of HND despite the size of the airport itself. Quite astonishing.
  18. for A400M, malaysia is one of the beneficiary due to parts supplied by malaysian supplier i.e CTRM and also other suppliers. That is symbiosis.
  19. guess an A320neo would be a good choice in this case. with good enough buffer range compared to B738, of course, A321neo could be a better choice as well.
  20. i thought sabah state government restricts flight from/to China from BKI?
  21. and only sabah is suspending flight to china as of now, no other airport like JHB, KUL, PEN, LGK. right?
  22. seems to be 320 as per the routesonline data. well, penang airport is long overdue for expansion. kulim airport can be a good replacement for PIA if they able to offer a very good package for airliners and also other users. Else, it will be challenging for kulim airport to replace penang international airport.
  23. so long MAB unable to improve their operation efficiency, no need to say any aircraft replacement plan.
