Oh boy. A pet peeve here. The biggest thing that stops the boarding process to a halt - people putting in their bags in the nearest overhead compartment - usually at the front - when their seats are 10 rows away!

I really hope that at least D7 will use the aerobridges. Also if you guys notice - the gates on the other side of the terminal - all are non-aerobridged. Perhaps this side is all for Malindo and such - seeing they use aerobridge even in MTB. And the other side is all for AirAsia - at least the braving-the-elements will be short - like in PEN for AirAsia.

Man, HKG approach is scary when its bad. last time i was there, the cloud was so thick, i think we went through about a hundred meters or more of thick clouds. And it doesnt help that it made the plane approach unstable as heck. also the pictures that Doc Naim shared - yowza!

But then if we build another 'shack' ala LCCT, many complaints will come in. On the other hand, if we see it this way - doing the terminal right the first time - who knows? maybe Terminal 4 in SIN will copy us. Also MAHB needs portfolio - and what's better than a nice new airport so other airports around the world will enggage MAHB to do theirs?
