I,m wondering if anybody did came to SZB for Nok Air spotting yesterday. It was raining heavily from noon till about four. A few last minute task/preparation still going on. At 1730, 9M-MQL, now using Thai reg HS-DDH is ready for her flight to new homeland. At 1500, still in the hangar for a component replacement. At 1530, in position for departure while 9M-MPA is behind. Bye-bye MAS. ...continue...

Hi guys.. some info on the subject.. Sorry for those who would like to get the last shot of the two birds in MAS livery. Both aircraft was in SZB since september for a C chk and "end of leased" inspection and I don't even know about it until they start painting the fuselage. Yes, it is END OF LEASED. So, no more "wet dreams". For now, no delivery date yet. Will get more info as the check close to completion. 9M-MQH and 9M-MQL..

Hi guys, This morning I went for spotting at the end of runway 15, SZB just for this specific metal bird. A bit hazy and the light was harsh as I'm facing the morning sun at 10AM. Not this one I'm talking about, but this bird just came in when I parked my car behind the shoplot. Don't have time to exit the car.. so I just shoot from 'inside'. The "bird". Skynet Asia Airways JA737W Boeing 737-400 at taxiway Kilo, departing for Japan. exiting taxiway into runway 15. Berjaya Air Dash 7 arrived as I was about to make my move.

Any news regarding the actual cause of the delay? is it 733 or 320??

Hi Liam, At last, DHE is going to fly again. I thought I'm gonna miss the aircraft, but then I saw two 727 with the same DHL c/s parked at Transmile Cargo Center. One of it already pushed back for departure. Anyway, DHE departed at 1110LT and took off 10 minutes later. Just pushed back. Can see the tail of other DHL 727. Clear to taxy. Another Transmile's 727 getting ready for departure. Nose shot Two MAS vans waiting for DHE to pass before crossing taxyway. 9M-TGM's tail at the background Bye-bye

Continue from the last photo.. After Saudi's 743 turn into Sierra, I turn my camera off and head back to the hangar. Then I realized that I still have a few more shots left. So I decided to go to the end of runway 15. It was my lucky day . AIN still holding and she is waiting for me. Actually, waiting for one light aircraft to land. This was my first shot at runway 15. Face to Face Can you see the beacon light?? The engines spool up and the plane starts rolling.. Can't get the rotation shot. It's too far for my camera.. And it is the end of my Saudi Arabian series..

Nope.. he is not taking any pics.. Just doing his routine, visiting plane to plane (boeing only) maybe for his report. And "Johor Baharu" is not starting its engine. A lot of manhours burn on polishing those l/edges and nacelles. Not only that, they insist on polishing the cargo metal floor panels too .. pity those cleaning staff.. Yes.. we did the repainting too.. I was informed that AIS was cancelled because SV already send her to other MRO just before AIN return.
