  1. Jonathan, PH-BFY superclean because just came out of re-painting (1st flight was 03jul05 to ORD) Thanks for the superb picture
  2. Norman, no BI flights between BWN-MYY and BWN-LBU v.v. resp. BI only operates into BKI and KUL in Malaysia
  3. Norman, YES, Fokker F50 use tiller; on the other hand, Twinotter use brake-pedals
  4. Norman, Still beat you with another 3 years so, age-wise Muhammad could be my son
  5. TK, Thanks for the "eye-witness account" Glad you and the rest of the occupants are all safe !!! Was your take-off roll from one of the 25 runways or 18 ?
  6. Azahan, Nice series of pictures of the Tripple-Seven: thumbs up and keep them comin' in
  7. Great news !!! I might now consider to fly AMS-NRT-BKI as well (apart from AMS-KUL-BKI)
  8. Andrew, That's my opinion as well: keep on moving with the "subject" even after pressing...tele abilities are quite good as well Love the light weight of the camera and the long lasting batteries ! Excellent camera for "fixed" holiday pictures, however, now saving for a D70
  9. Glad TK and all the other occupants are safe Guess 100 knots is well below V1 and VR (?) Would be interesting to know how all the passengers were rebooked by MAS (at least not via AMS as MH017 left AMS today with full C- and Y-class (48/314)
  10. yes PLEASE let's live in peace together: do not forget some people are members of both communities
  11. Give it a try now that Gavin went to Penang hehehe
  12. Andrew, Same camera as mine How do you regard it as to aircraft-photography ???
  13. Gavin, No time for bathing: lot's of work to do
  14. Imran, Couldn't agree with you more !!!
  15. Liau, Sure, a fleet-planner has to schedule all the aircraft-registrations to the scheduled flights, taking into account: maintenance at the base, spare-aircraft, training-flights, test-flights, charter-flights, sightseeing-flights, positioning-flights etc.etc. If more aircraft are "unserviceable" than planned, I'll be in trouble, for I cannot assign the proper aircraft to the planned flight; in that case, I'll have to change equipment (like from F70 to F100, or F100 to F50 ), or if not able to do that, arrange for "wet-lease" or even have to cancel the flights Imran, We might be able to meet eachother in Malaysia, IF I will be spending my vacation there this year (will be on leave between 30jul-20aug); this will be decided soon depending on some urgent "jobs" to be done here first
  16. Keno, Wasn't MUC an add-on out of VIE ? (KUL-VIE-MUC)
  17. Sorry to miss most of this here, as it's all in BM
  18. Name: Pieter Age: 49 Occupation: fleet-planner with the oldest airline in the world Gears: Fuji Finepix S304 (but saving for Nikon D50/D70)
  19. Great shot, TK, of the A300: I definitely prefer the "old" colours
  20. Azahan, Thanks a lot: hope I won't disappoint you guys
  21. TK, Fantastic shots, especially the Tup of " Polska Rzczecpospolita" !!! WOW, long way from home: state visit to Malaysia, or just transitting ? Still waiting for the MPD overhere in AMS; today, again, we had MPK
  22. Welcome to the club, captain
  23. Imran, Why not ? Sometimes, KLM cityhopper (KLC) do operate them between AMS-HUY or AMS-SVG, a more than 1.5 hours "overwater" stretch
  24. Azahan, Great shots What lens do you use in addition to your D70 ?
  25. Imran, Glad you enjoyed the Fokker F50; although, it's based on a 1955 design (Fokker F27), it still looks fantastic and sleak These engines are really "silent"...in fact, KLM cityhopper had to do some training last friday 01jul05 and, although OST is usually closed for the summer season (airport is close to the beach), I was given permission to proceed, given the fact that it's "not a jet" For a picture of PH-KVH, go to www.flugzeugbilder.de and select OST and/or PH-KVH (quite a treat for OST-spotters )
