Correct me if I am wrong, I assumed that it is illegal to listen to local ATC convos without proper authorisation, right? However, the past few days have been interesting for me, listening to bits and pieces KLIA approach conversations from pilots to tower on my radio on random basis! Hehe... felt like getting secret birthday gift whenever I heard that, didn't dare to change my radio position nor setting least its get lost forever. Over the weekend, I've started listening to a radio channel called X.fm , I think it's X-Fresh.FM if I am not mistaken. Nilai area, 97.9.fm. Although a bit fuzzy, the music station would somehow overlapped with pilots/ATC conversations. However though, I can only listen when they're ascending/descending around 6,000 ft or less... hmm.. Does this usually happens to ordinary public person's radios?

Saw his pictures and profile, he seemed like a humble guy. Really sad when seeing his flight photos, and especially him in his cadet uniforms or with his cadet mates. A loss of a son, brother, friend, and future pilot. Like Walter said, would like to know what had led to this event.

You showed such effort, going the extra mile to help and guide a new member, siap examples and screen shots lagi (with examples and screen shots as well!) and I can easily imagine how wonderful you will make pax feel with that kind of attitude. Is that an Anotov? I caught the same, I think... Volga-Dnepr [Airlines], and since its parked near the MASCargo bay, I assumed this one is on cargo service operations, I guess. Hehe... Uncle Norman, last Saturday evening (12th July), if I am not wrong, I was onboard AHN on its 1st day operation, Flight AK 5156, KUL-TWU (9M-AHN Delivery 11Jul08 TLS-SHJ-KUL). (and yeah... the red wingtip in my 2nd photo of the Russian aircraft above belongs to it).
