Thanks Lee CH, for the clarification, obviously I don't know . For sure, they were doing all the possible manuevers they can during the 3-hours period. It helped with minimal interruptions from AK, MH and occasional small airplanes during that time. One thing I can testify is that their short finals were the best. Not the normal straight-in approach like at KLIA.

OT Singapore Trainer 381 9V-SKA was doing circuit landing for nearly 3 hours at Johor Bharu airport this morning (actual schedule 0730 - 1200hours). Sadly I spot with my eyes but it was simpy awesome They were doing go-around, touch n go, and some short finals (various, I don't know the correct term, including crabbing) and the flight controls, as I observed were just responsive WoW !

Hmm..MH way to push for internet ticketing.. Using Windows 98 operating system as comparison, the only accessible internet booking in Malaysia is AK. Try doing that within MH website returned an error mesage..something to do with 128 bit encryption. Talk about internet booking. As most of my dealing during office hour and yes my MIS provided computer at office is the golden age Windows 98, I find this news very irritating.

In Malaysia, at WMKL yesterday was quite something. It was raining and this MH was waiting for one sole Middle Easterners look-alike to board. I mean he was called upfront on the PA, walking to the gate still talking on the phone, being stopped at the last boarding gate by MH security to abandon the talking yet still have his own sweet time to talk . All the while the aircraft was waiting for him. Pity for the security who has no choice but to enforce "abandon the phone or the aircraft abandon you" (can see from his facial expression). Finally, as soon as he board, the aircraft taxied. Here we have ATTITUDE problem. Slightly OFF TOPIC : Need not say more about the AK queue, what's more with the X-press boarding in place.

Looks like it though one could sense the satellite building should be used for international departure but hey.. I once experienced MH80 (or MH81? for that matter, could not remember ) parked at MTB too but the embarkation was on different gate for domestic and international passengers. I guess it has got to do with Immigration stuff for international passengers hence the different gate.
