MH A/C Skidded Upon Landing?
Gavin Andrew David replied to Sri Ramani K.'s topic in General Aviation
Plenty of keyboard professors these days Great job from the guys in the front ! These things happen , and it could have been much worse , than just two blown tires ! But what interests me is , how did they know they had blown two tyres , or blown any tires for that matter ! Hit something on the take off roll probably ? Reminds me of the Concorde incident And I must say , it is extremely disappointing that they had to sit in the aircraft for so long before they were allowed to disembark , this is considering that they already knew that this aircraft had a problem just after take off. I noticed the person who posted the video saying that it was hot in the aircraft because there was no a/c , I think for the most part , it was not the A/C , but things were just so ' tense ' in there , because from the outside you can hear the APU is running -
Firefly launched new route to Sandakan
Gavin Andrew David replied to fabianz03's topic in General Aviation
Well you can trust that , if they have decided to launch their route , they've put alot of thought into operating in and out of that airport , and have factored in the limitations of the aircraft . The new 738's engines are more powerful than the classics as well , and the size difference , between the B734 and the B738 is more or less negligible . B734 is 36.4m in length , compared to 39.47 on the -800's .... and the diameter of the fuselage is identical on both versions . -

MAS New Boeing 737-800s with Sky Interior
Gavin Andrew David replied to Ja Singh's topic in General Aviation
Interesting video ! Thanks for sharing! -
Well its typical for the media to blow things out of proportion .... Especially since this airline is in the limelight for all sorts of little incidents in the past 2years was it ?
-
Perhaps the other airlines cover up well ? but who knows really . But this seems to be a very serious problem ! Fire caused by Window Heat , which is an automated system on this aircraft . Luckily the fire was somewhere they could reach instead of it being somewhere else and causing more irreversible damage mid air

Likewise on the new A330's and the 330's that AirAsia uses

There are some times where they use the jumbo on National service routes ? when they are sending out the participants , but this one , also depends on luck , they might change aircraft at the last minute LH 74 is your best bet Be fast , she's fading away fast
