Remarks: Lufthansa Boeing 747-430 taken at SIN's T2 at Observation Deck. 747-400 was new at the time and this one just arrived from Frankfurt or Munich.

QF_B742.jpg

Year taken: Jan 1995

Location: Brisbane International Terminal (old)

Registration: VH-EBR

Remarks: This Boeing 747-238B was with QF at the time. Taken at the old terminal where you have to walk down via the stairs. I believe this facility is now a cargo terminal(?). This bird went to Fiji's Air Pacific as DQ-FJE before it was broken up at Marana Pinal Air Park at Arizona

Year taken: 1 March 1998

Location: Fukuoka International Airport

Registration: 9M-MKE(?)

Remarks: My first time on MAS' Airbus A330-300. Taken while waiting for my flight from FUK to KUL (Subang T1). She is seen holding here for Air China's A340 and Phillppine's A330 to vacate the apron. FUK has a viewing deck and it is a spotting heaven.

Year taken: 1 March 1998

Location: Fukuoka International Airport

Registration: JA8147

Remarks: Air China's A340-300 is heading to Dalian in Northern China. Spot JL's Resocha and Philippine's A330-300 in the photo. The 747 in the foreground is JA8147 a short range Boeing 747SR-81. After her retirement from NH, she was used as a the film set for the Hollywood movie "War of Worlds" by Steven Speilburg. She had to be blown up :sorry:

Thats all, hope you like them. Post your historic or retro a/c photos and hopefully with a story to tell (don't worry if it doesn't). :)
