Royal Brunei Airlines and Singapore Airlines end code share agreement

Recommended Posts

Royal Brunei Airlines and Singapore Airlines have mutually agreed to end their code share agreement on flights between Brunei and Singapore. The last Royal Brunei Airlines and Singapore Airlines code share flight will be on Thursday 31st January 2008.

To serve the travelling public better, Royal Brunei Airlines now operates two flights daily to Singapore. With departure times from Brunei at 8am and 6pm, the schedule caters for the needs of holiday makers and day trippers to and from Singapore.

All passengers who made earlier bookings intended for travel after the termination date will be reaccommodated onto flight BI421 or BI423 from Brunei or, if flying from Singapore, flight BI422 or BI424.

oooh..what's happening here?

BI still has twice daily flights to SIN. KUL used to get it until sometime last year. What a shame - the 767s were a regular sight.

This reduction could be due to AK's flights to BWN.

Was wondering the same: not good for BI...

Now even less market-share, no 777 operation, lousy connections via BWN to Australia destinations :(
