Kevin Teh 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2008 Our friend from HKG was here in KUL yesterday, while being forced to move to 32L threshold on the slow Monday we're lucky to catch this one lining up for 32L on the rare 32L single operation hours.... But all you get at the end of the day was HEAT HAZE!! And the not so spotter friendly afternoon storm kicks in around 3pm... big contrast to the morning weather and this one specialy for the visiting member

Captain, 2nd Austrian 777 came last night for C check also. Will be around for 11 days. To be followed by the 3rd a/c. look like MH's MRO is doing good business. Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted March 28, 2008 Its going to look stunning the V-Australia livery! Emperor Kong, there's no Virgin in V-Australia. SIA will not allow the name "Virgin" to be used internationally by Virgin Blue, hence the "Pacific Blue" (in NZ they call it "Passufuc Blue" - Sorry SV) and "Polynesian Blue"

Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted March 29, 2008 I don't know the exact reason, but I believe it something written in the 25% share contract SIA has with VS

Maarof Kassim 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2008 I was at 32L with Yong, Victor and a German(forgot his name) today. Here's what I got... This airline brings me fond memories. They send a 777 today. Thai also send their regular 777 in new colours. Another difference, Lion sending an MD-90. Cathay with the 100th aircraft logo. 100th what? More to follow...
