Norman 1 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 These are some actions seen in Nilai 3 yesterday (18th Sept 2005) My first set will be some shots of the Eagle 150B of Elite Flying Club a Subang-based flying school... made famous by Malaysian Idol recently.. 9M-BDU Take-off roll Over the threshold RWY27 Nose shot (cockpit??) 9M-BEB Clear for take-off, Nilai Airstrip's Style Clear to Land, also Nilai Airstrip's Style "Hey, touchdown here by my feet..." Only Elite got Malaysian Idol Anyway, I did mentioned about a 4-year old kid in the thread in Main Term board.. So here is the story... He was such a Celebrity that day in Nilai Actually he is a RC Pilot.. However, being minor... daddy's there to make sure he performed His Pitts-look-a-like "Ok guys, take care of the aircraft.. I'm burnt-out.." This kid is from Thailand RC Club or something and he did a very spectacular aerobatic performance with that RC Aircraft... barrel roll, Lazy Eight, Loops etc.... Norman 1 Report post Posted September 19, 2005 Guys, Among the performers in Nilai are rotor-wings Here are some shots of choppers that I managed to catch (dedicated to a very good friend who used to fly Alloutte doing a low fly-past at less than 1ft above runway) Sabah Air's Bell Long Ranger 9M-KUL Fancy Take-off Attitude.. Carry pax for RM70/10min/head joyride.. Get the Canopy!!!... He's gonna land on top of us!! Bomba's Agusta A109E 9M-BOB Another fancy take-off attitude... Siren wailing... Here I come.. Hang-on, where's the fire?? I wanna get out.. Ain't she pretty..? Bomba's Mi-17-1V M49-01 Lets do a tight turn around that pole... ROOAARRRR Who stole our door??? Here are some more; Pitts S-2B Special VH-LOE Aerobatic According to records, this Australian-registered aircraft belongs to Mr Markus Walther, residing in Penang. But aircraft is known to be based in Johor.. Confirmed...
