H Azmal 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2005 Saw it on BBC World, and the registration, before some people slapped something onto the fuselage to cover the rego. 's that something customary for airline companies to do?
Y. J. Foo 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2005 Saw it on BBC World, and the registration, before some people slapped something onto the fuselage to cover the rego. 's that something customary for airline companies to do? 6892 Most, if not all airline companies will do something to cover up their livery and/or title, they think that they can trick peoples from being able to identify the plane, but obviously none of these attempts fool us or heck, anyone...dunno why peoples are stupid enough to do that futile attempts to "protect" their companies... Anyway what've caused the crash? Engine failure?
Radzi 2 Report post Posted September 5, 2005 Some casualities on ground as well. Look out at how densely populated the area around the airport is. In MES aircraft normally land on 05 and takeoff 23. Aircraft crashed at the end of the runway here. Check out the photo of MES approach here. http://www.airliners.net/open.file/456978/L/
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted September 5, 2005 WOW, both ends have heavily populated areas: no wonder something would go amiss when a crash/aborted take-off would occur

Radzi 2 Report post Posted September 6, 2005 Saw it on BBC World, and the registration, before some people slapped something onto the fuselage to cover the rego. 's that something customary for airline companies to do? 6892 Too late. The picture on the frontpage of the Star today shows the registration quite prominently. Isaac 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2005 My condolences ONE MALAYSIAN is CONFIRMED DEAD 6925 He's a Sabahan. By the way, anybody remembers the 3 Sabahan that died on SQ6 that crashed on October 31st, 2000 ? There wasn't any news about them after the tragic crash. I guess all their bodies were sent back to BKI on MH69 (was still operated by 333 at the time) ?
