SS Lee 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 (edited) Not the best conditions to snap with the setting sun on the other side, but this was the best available, after some editing. Departed Penang at about 6:20pm today. **************************** By the way, did you use a ladder for this? Fence there is quite high. SS Lee 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2015 Here are some shots from Sunday, after some absence from spotting. It is never wise to be snapping with the sun in front of you, but hey, well worth it. I Malindo ATR72-600 (9M-LMM) What a lovely sight. Saw an airplane tail while I was approaching the airport. Didn't thought of anything at first, but after clearing the cement wall, ...................... Brunei Government A340-212 (V8-001) A342 Tail with some Mynas hopping around. A shame though that this was the only time suitable to snap MAS' heavy into Penang. There were a few other days where MAS sent its 333 and 772 up here. Other days when the camera was ready for them, the 738 was used. 9M-MRM was good enough. SSLee
SS Lee 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2015 The RMAFs A400 did a few circuits at Ipoh's airport before doing a touch-and-go at WMKP sometime around 10am. flee 5 Report post Posted July 16, 2015 The RMAF's A400M resumed flights in the past two weeks. Earlier this week, it performed a night sortie from SZB to PEN - circled to PEN airport and returned to SZB after that. About a 3 hour mission.
