Prestley Shim 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2015 Any news on the further expansion of the terminal? They seemed to build an additional wing adjacent to Gate 1 to 3 and there is some works done on Gate R waiting area... So far the expansion works have been kept a quiet affair. If I'm not mistaken there wasn't even an announcement about it in the papers prior to commencing.

Eddy Liew 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2015 dark skies on one side... bit rainny in Kuching lately? On another note, a second FR24 receiver based around in Kuching should be coming online in the next few days. Don't know what the coverage will be like though, hope it increases coverage towards the sea.
Anandhan Azlan 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2015 More like hot and humid. Rain is sparse at the moment. Chris, it's okay i missed her too. Great shots of MLK and MLE.

Prestley Shim 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2015 Went for some spotting today at a new location I found. Very near to runway 25 extended centerline. However spotting in that area may result in you being chased away by the construction workers authorities. Prestley Shim 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) Hold on a sec, that wee barrier is what's keeping people out of the tarmac??? Apparently yes, and a guard in the guardhouse. Prestley Shim 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2015 Delayed by approx 20+ minutes. The equipment change was quite unexpected as we were expecting a Trippie. But this is also good enough as there are hardly any heavies carrying out commercial flights into Kuching anymore.
