Iklan yang tertulis "You want your momma, because you are in the hospital with lousy nurses atau “anda mahu ibu kerana anda berada di hospital bersama jururawat yang teruk” adalah iklan syarikat insurans Tune yang menawarkan perkhidmatan mereka kepada penumpang AirAsia. – 26 Februari, 2014. source : http://my.news.yahoo.com/persatuan-perubatan-malaysia-kecewa-iklan-airasia-burukkan-imej-065744507.html
BC Tam 2 Report post Posted February 26, 2014 Credit to AK for the swift recovery mode(the following picked up from fb) AirAsiaWe would like to apologise for an advertisement which has appeared on board some of our aircraft by our onboard advertiser, Tune Insurance.#AirAsia would like to assure our guests and those practicing the nursing profession that all measures are being taken to remove the said advertisement immediately from our aircrafts. We have an approval process in place with our advertising agency to ensure that all content supplied by our advertisers is consistent with our brand values. Regrettably, in this incident, that process was not followed and we sincerely apologize for this error. We’ve addressed the issue and have improved our approval process to ensure this does not happen in the future.AirAsia has the highest respect towards all nurses and we did not intend to disrespect anyone in this noble profession.Once again, AirAsia would like to apologise for the oversight. V Wong 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2014 Disgraceful, disgusting, revolting... how could such insensitive and reckless ad slip through the 'approval process'?
Johan Z 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2014 It was meant as a joke. Kudos to AirAsia for responding promptly. It's really a non-issue now.
V Wong 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) Certain topics are never and can never be meant as joke. If you are proud of your profession and it is being joked about as such, you will feel humiliated and belittled for all the efforts you put into your job. Coming from the AirAsia group, the blow can only be doubly severe Edited February 27, 2014 by V Wong

Coming from the AirAsia group, the blow can only be doubly severe That is very true. It is total crap. How can this be an "oversight" when one knows very well it is totally insensitive to another profession. If you have a "process" in place, how on earth can you allow this one to pass through your system. Post-event apology after the damage has been done can be viewed as "questionable sincerity". "Kudos to AK"? It should not have happened in the first place.
