If you have any interest, do so before anything changes ... I get the impression that the nation is at the very doorstep of imminent change. And there is a company - Juche Travel Services - that has organised aviation tours!!! Check them out at www.juchetravelservices.com and they also have a facebook presence.

One of my friends just returned from the 2nd Juche Travel Services tour; you can see his Youtube movies of his Air Koryo experiences as Chefsalad76... :good:

Note during Summer 2012 season, the North Korean flag carrier operated scheduled charter service to Harbin, Shanghai and Tianjin. In August 2012, Taiwanese tour operators arranged 4 “Arirang Tour” from Taipei to Pyongyang via Shenyang, which later claimed to be a big success, and resulted in a team of North Korean delegates’ visit to Taiwan in mid-October 2012. The North Korean delegates proposed Air Koryo offering seasonal charter service to Taiwan in Summer 2013, while promoting its tourism industry.(Visited 385 times, 385 visits today)
