tsentsan 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2006 A last minute decision saw 3 of us (KC, Vernon and Myself) travel up to KLIA for a morning of spotting. Setting off at 3.30am and reaching KLIA at 7am gave us a whole morning of intense spotting activity. Sad to say we didnt see the Heliconia, Hibisci or any other special liveried MAS aircraft. The MAS B738 with Winglets (OK-TVC) was parked so no movement from her. Our motives of the trip were to photograph the 738s as they are rumoured to be leaving the fleet soon. Anyhow, we managed to get some other "specials".. Here they are in no particular sequence. First off, people plane AirAsia's 9M-AAB. Next, 3 Ah Moi plane 9M-AAR Then, the 2nd Airbuzz of AK 9M-AFB Malaysian Airlines also had their presence felt with 9M-MKD and 9M-MPG and fortunately, we had a B738 in the form of OK-TVD. OK-TVC is in the background, hiding. Now, the Internationals. China Southern Airbus A320 B-2350 Shenzhen Airlines B738 B-5073 Thai Air Asia Solarton HS-AAU Cargolux B744F LX-RCV Indo AirAsia B733 PK-AWT with Air Asia titles Air India A310 VT-AIN Jet Airways B73H VT-JGF Thats the whole lot from me. Difficult leh, mine only 200mm, unlike the biggie monsters the KL folks have :-) I got some using my 400mm but they're soft than something flaccid.
