Stefan Wengermeier 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2010 Hi all! I was wondering if someone could help me with a few questions regarding 9M-ATM. According to this comment on Airliners.net the aircraft will be sold soon: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Hornbill-Skyways/Cessna-750-Citation/1729688/L/ Does anyone know if this sale has already happened or where it will be flying in the future? I would like to photograph 9M-ATM very much, but without knowing if it is still around and when it would actually fly, I don't think a trip from Europe to Malaysia would make much sense. In case 9M-ATM is still active, would somebody be in the position to either let me know about its flights or maybe even arrange a visit to Hornbill Skyways in Kuching? Thank you very much for any ideas in advance! All the best, Stefan http://www.MUCphotos.de/

Radzi 2 Report post Posted August 4, 2010 9M-ATM to be sold off? Maybe ATM (the person) is getting ready for state election, 9M-ATM could be a political liability.

Ignatius 4 Report post Posted August 4, 2010 The rumored selling of ATM is not politically motivated, more to maintenance issue and cabin space. I hope she doesnt leave just yet, I still havent got a decent shot of her hehehe
Tamizi Hj Tamby 1 Report post Posted August 4, 2010 I've only snapped her twice; but i do agree that maintenance issue and cabin space is the reason why the ATM is sold off.

Would it be wrong to assume you would fly half way round the globe merely to take a picture of one specific plane ? Salute lah ! Any candidates for replacement of ATM (the plane) yet ? Heard from someone that the candidate replacement for the Citation is a Bombardier jet;but not sure either it's Global Express or Challenger series.
