S M Tang 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2010 The E-4B was there this morning at 0900. When I came back from a flight at 1330 it was gone. Wonder why it was moved from SZB to KUL. According to MIR, there was one E4-B in SZB and another one in KUL. Apparently the one in KUL is standing by for the POTUS in Jakarta.
Mohd Suhaimi Fariz 2 Report post Posted November 10, 2010 If you can see the D7 Oakland Raiders plane there's a Southern Air 747 parked beside it. Does anybody have the story on that plane? Is it about to be scrapped or is it currently undergoing maintenance?

BTW, Qayyum, can you confirm it was 31677 which was seen departing SZB the same morning? Capt, I believe it is not the same as seen in SZB as this bird was here since yesterday. Before leaving back home from work circa 9a.m., there was already quite some people around the a/c. I believe they were already preparing it for its departure. The USAF folks do have a good sense of humour! Just one question, any reason why it came in as Buster XX and left as Busty 25?
Sri Ramani K. 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2010 (edited) N2767 touched down from SIN at 1025hrs today, delayed departure out of SIN. Weather was BAD so the only place I could be was at Anjung Tinjau. After vacating the active runway and taxiing on taxiway Charlie, a follow-me truck came and guided the a/c to the remote stand beside A10. Welcome to Malaysia, President Clinton! Land of the many MH birds. And the best shot I could get was only this. Pix dedicated to Capt. Masahiko Sakai! Chaity and Capt Sakai will definitely have another angle of it on finals. Cheers! Sri Ramani K. 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2010 (edited) Some lazy man MH spotting from Anjung Tinjau. When I arrived at 9 A.M., overlooking the Alpha bays. And this was when a few already left; a contrast shot with 9M-MLA and 9M-MLB in the background. Hope to see you both in FY colours! 9M-MLF being pushed back 9M-MQO. S M Tang 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2010 MLA and MLB do not have the Wau on the inside of the winglets while MLF has. Any specific reason for that?
Sri Ramani K. 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2010 I thought we've been informed that both MLA and MLB have been painted in FY's livery? Azizul, I don't remember seeing anyone informing about them already painted. There were members who suggested that MLA and MLB will be operated by FY and I believe everyone's expecting a new livery on it soon. MLA and MLB do not have the Wau on the inside of the winglets while MLF has. Any specific reason for that? Quoting Capt. Radzi's post HERE just in case anybody is interested. MLF has the MAS logo on the inside of the winglet as well. MLG don't have this. According to a friend, one who did the MLG acceptance flight test... The company tak nak. It's not even extra cost. Go figure.

TK 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2010 Something to share on apron shots this past few days. 9M-MLH 9M-MXB Parked at the far end of Main terminal building for engineering crew. Many were on board to do OJT or On Job Training. I don't know about you guys... I just prefer an airliner scheme with cheat lines... I sure do gonna miss the "OLD" MAS scheme.
