Kwek 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2008 Fast forward.................the year is 2008. Date: 12 Jan Location: Cargo Apron - Don Muang It's the Children's Day Open House again.... The morning fog threw the flying program out of the window.........it only cleared around 9:30 a.m. The static display consist of the usual suspects.... the only change being the addition of Pink NOK and HS-TAA. Thais young and old came out in full force Backlit for photos.......nothing much really What's the purpose of coming to an airshow and then find shade under an aircraft??? The Peacemaker formation flypast leaving a smoke trial in Thai National colours. This F-16 buzzed the airfield before landing. The arrival of the F-16s and F-5s provided the entertainment for the morning - highlight is the F-5F with special markings celebrating 30 years. It was difficult to squeeze in for quick shot There's another interesting F-5B at the museum at the other side of the airfield.....this was taken the previous day. This was the very first F-5B........ 44 flying years..amazing. The airshow isn't the only thing of interest. I hung on till the late afternoon.......I want the "new" NOKS!!! Kwek 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2008 Pink NOK HS-TDD was at the static. When she was pushed out for departure, it provided a photo opportunity.....ramp photography at Don Muang! A closer look at the nose. I'm happy to see the regular NOKs again... Purple Next two should be familiar to some Malaysian spotters..........Yellow Peacock The regular guys are most welcomed too... Thai HS-TAF One-to-go HS-OME Looking clean... I managed to update my NOK collection with these...Target achieved Green....eeeeeeeeeeeeee Orange Blue One Blue Two Sayonara pics Sorry...no runway action shots....too far and high.
