Radzi 2 Report post Posted December 27, 2005 (edited) I know 32L approach is usually very crowded on weekends and holidays, but weather station? Not a very good sign...... Anyway Azahan, put your lens shade properly lah, will make the lens looks longer. BTW, Christmas Island charter is quite a regular occurance. However only a few guys are doing it, only those who have the experience. Edited December 27, 2005 by radzi

T Azahan 1 Report post Posted December 27, 2005 Pieter, I noticed 'Karachi' had this code 'FK-031' on the front gear door. Like wise 'Leeuwin' had KB-051. What do these codes mean? For comparison, MH, SQ or CX would have the last two alphabets of their rego on the front gear door. Would you be able to share with us the meaning behind those codes. Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted December 27, 2005 Azahan, Fabulous Royal Brunei "red-nose reindeer" , but, what happened to the Bruneian flag ? Why was it removed ? Will have to contact my technical guys regarding your codes behind the rego on the nosewheel-door: have no clue Regarding my camera: when still taking slides: Fuji ST701 changed to digital: Fuji Finepix 304 now moved to dark-side as well and using Delta 50 with Tokina 80-400mm (although, the boxing-day nose-shots were still taken by the Finepix: haven't read the manual completely as yet)
Norman 1 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 (edited) Guys, We have MW members manning the tower, If we're in luck, they'll be on duty while we're spotting then we'll get the aircraft to "come" to us... And guys viz: those without dSLR... dSLR is just like M16 with clip to AUTO.. Click/Slap.Click/Slap.Click/Slap.Click/Slap and the target 734 just moved 10m... Oh ya... my puny shooter ... Benjamin Ho 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 (edited) Ahh... another D50 in the club... goody good.. Mine is with Sigma 70-300 lens. Great cam and good lens. ignatius, I do not think there is a way to modify radio for ATC. Spotters uses radio scanners to receive (read: receive ONLY!!!) ATC. Find out more on www.radioshack.com unfortunately, radio scanners covers one of the frequency range that is not allowed to be listened to by public in Malaysia. do check out Malaysia custom's website for detail.
