  1. This thread has gone dead for a while. Time to revive it. Since Shenzhen Airlines had canned their ops on the NNG-KUL route, Chine Eastern have started 2 weekly KMG-NNG-KUL flight which operate during the day. Something good for the spotters to spot now. Schedule as per below. http://airlineroute.net/2011/01/26/mu-nng-jan11/#more-29214 Some changes of CX's operation into PEN which sees changes to the morning flight to KUL http://airlineroute.net/2011/01/20/cx-pen-s11/#more-28934 Hope the year 2011 brings in more Asian carriers into KUL
  2. Good News for KUL. This is the main way forward for them, from here. Having said that, Hopefully Air Mauritius increase its frequency into KUL with this new tag on.
  3. Fantastic Shots there Laurie! Gotta Agree with Iggy, A.net Worthy
  4. Great shots there Ian, Jonathan, KS and MDSaleh! Keep them comming
  5. Fantastic shot on the APRON there TK. Keep the coming
  6. AN update for everyone on the forum. Transmile has sold all 4 MD-11's to Fedex hence why titles have been removed. Aircraft are being prep up for service. They will be ferried to SIN for a C check and on completion of that will head of to Fedex. I'm guessing they will be painted and registered in SIN. No dates and times just yet for ferry flights but I will post it up once I get more information.
  7. Nice catch there Ashmil and Ian. Any idea what it was here for?
  8. They should be getting the leased birds SV
  9. Nice catch there Liew! Keep them coming. Hope things are good with you man
  10. Yea they did, but I was pretty sure they don't have any aircraft capable of plying the KTM-KUL route. Latest update is that Air Arabia will indeed fly all the way to KUL. Schedule below. What do you guys think about the turn around time, 40 minutes. Quite tight? http://airlineroute.net/2010/11/16/g9-ktmkul-w10/#more-27025
  11. A Topic on Air Arabia starting flight to KUL via KTM has popped up one A.net but there doesn't seem to be any news on Air Arabia's website. http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/general_aviation/read.main/4984387/ If I recall correctly, they once planned on starting flight to KUL a year or two back. Stand to be corrected. Just an update. Managed to Find some information. Looks like Air Arabia will fly the Sharjah-Kathmandu leg while fly yeti (Air Arabia's joint venture company) will ply the KTM-KUL leg daily. More info below. http://www.budgetairlineguide.com/forum/budget-airline-news/371-air-arabia-flyyeti-offer-low-fares-sharjah-kuala-lumpur.html
  12. Thanks for the update Tamizi. Rob, as per what Tamizi has said, all aircraft belong to Tri-MG. But 9M-NEP is the only aircraft based in Malaysia for Neptune's Operations. Any idea if that was a schedule flight or a one of charter? Any idea if they have a routine schedule?
  13. I don't give them long. Heli operations for the poor? Its going to cost at least 2500+ or there about's for an hours flight in the bell, where's the money going to come from. LOL
  14. Hi Rob, Johar Bahru would be it. I believe Neptune Air only has the B727 in their fleet. The B732 is either sold or leased to an Indonesian Operator. So I believe 9M-NEP should have operated the flight. Also there were some shots posted from Vietnam that showed 9M-NEP operating out of Ho Chi Minh.
  15. Bro, FY has said that they are going to be getting B738's, what's the point of talking about B734's?
  16. Where are you getting 16x brand new 738's from Mate? Care to share your source?
  17. Nice shots there Ramani.
  18. To add to Shenzhen's temporary pull out. Air India is canning their Chennai-KUL run. This is goodbye to Air India's ops in KUL. Air India Express will continue to ply the Chennai-KUL Sector. Its sad to see that our neighbours down south and up north can get a whole load of flight from India, but KUL is just such a slacker. http://airlineroute.net/2010/10/28/ai-cxld-w10/#more-26487
  19. TK, Jonathan and MD Salleh, great shots from Subang there guys. Excellent shots there. Keep them comming!
  20. Hi Azahan, will this mean that they are leasing in additional B738's? At the moment it stands at MLH. Are we looking at another 6 leased B738's joining the fleet.
  21. Negative Pieter. I believe when they have no flights within the region, they park them at Subang. They have been doing it for quite sometime now.
  22. Nice catches there Chaity especially of PIA's bus in their new dress. Any sightings of CZ's new noon flight? Also have you seen Lion Air flying to KUL while you've been spotting?
