Hi All, So sorry for the late posting of photos, this is the first opp. that I have had, Since the shoot, I have been snowed under at work....and now it is Saturday morning, I have had a chance to do some processing for exclusive viewing at Mwings! The Arrival.....and everyone was watching the star of the show! Retarding on 20R....welcome to your new home! Sunset taxi....light was wrong, but an A380 still looks good from any angle! Hi Guys, Had a fun morning at Changi today.....no KC who is currently in TLS searching for a certain 9V-SKA! Not to be undone, I also managed to get another "big bird" and was lucky enough to have her rotate right in front of me....must have been completely empty! Also, some more of the fleet getting those "new" coats of paint! Enjoy Andrew

Hi Sneeze, Thanks for the reply. I thought that a weekday might be difficult.....never mind. Problem with after work is that I am stuck in business meetings and dinners all day and evening.....sorry! Regarding the email, no never got anything, that is very strange. Can you send again, and let me know by PM on here when you sent it. If we can't meet, then I will try on my own, just have to hope for 25 runway and I can use the new viewing deck. Is it normally 25 that time of year? If it is 07, I guess I have to use that Island overlooking 07R lineup......just need to find that ferry service. Might have to ask you for some help! Thanks and look forward to hearing from you. Hi Sneeze, No more SQ B744F in the hybrid colours....but as you said, keep looking for the new colours / big font jets! I have my trip to Hong kong finalised.....will be there from 20-22 September.....and free on 22nd September from sunrise until about 1400, when I have to get booked in for the flight back to Singapore.....77W!!!!! Hi Sneeze, To answer your question way back in this thread...CAVOK means "Cloud and Visibility OK" in other words, the best conditions for photography.....lucky man. Wow, the shots from that new spot are GREAT! I will be in Hong Kong in September and also November.....perhaps we can meet up for some photography. Hi Guys, Was a fun day today....single runway ops gave me some different angles on some usual and unusual visitors. I would like to share them with you: My first ever pic of Transaero at Singapore! Qatar decided to bring in a beauty for me! Finally managed to get Jett8.....and lucky to get it on this runway! Got info that an AN124 was in town...and managed to picture it leaving town And last but not least, my fav Singapore Airlines plane, and I really did have to finish with a B777 of 07/07/07 Enjoy and take care! Yep big lens needed. I had to use my 170-500 Sigma......!! But didn't need to go to full extension, only 400mm (X 1.5 crop factor!!) as 500mm is gets very soft. Hard work to get the shot, but more than worth it! Regards Andrew

Hi Guys, Thought that I would share a few pix from this morning's sortie to the airport. Christina Aguilera was in town and she and her entourage used Z-ARL, the Avient DC-10....this was the main target this morning....nailed! I found a new angle and currently at Changi, like KUL, it is single runway ops. All movements in the morning are from 20R / 02L. Which also means that I can get the SQ B777-300ERs every time they go....and with a closed runway, aircraft are free to make sharp left turns if req.....and 9V-SPP did this for me Enjoy and Cheers!
