  1. IMO, most international airports in Japan are spotter friendly.
  2. What a shock! Seems that Oasis is getting her B744 from ANA is slowing down at the moment? How come they have just received the ex JA404A but not the rest of two. And now there is a news about this MH B744 as B-LFZ, so what's going on? BTW, grad to see you here, Colin.
  3. My friend will have his first T7 flight to KIX, and hope to be the first CX flight landing on that runway.
  4. Hoe Jyh, AFAIK, it will be in HKG for 5 more times in Aug, the rest of time, i guess they will fly mainly to China, anyway, I hope you can have it as well. Good luck.
  5. Not sure, but by the internet search, it was ex-SWISS and VARIG, just sold to UPS on Feb, 2007.
  6. Haha, Andrew, thanks for your quick reply. That was not by luck, because the departure of the B744F was told by my Canton friend, so that's why I have to wake at 0545, since it was estimated to be departed around 0800. If that day wasn't this B744F, I can have one more hour sleep.
  7. The topic has been cooled for quite a few days. So, it is time to have some new uploads here to share. 27/Jul, I woke up at 0545, all the way just heading to the HKIA for 2 specials of the day. The runway in use at that moment was 07L, however, unluckily, when I and my friend arrived the point for 07L take off, we saw just one QF departure and long haven't got one more after that, why? Unluckily, that was the runway change!! And at that moment, a Cargolux rolled to the holding point for the RWY25R. That is nothing, as we were not targeting that. But one of our target, the Yangtze River Express was just rolling right after it. God, not enough time for us to change a slightly better location for that. So, we just tried to have as much shots as we can, as a kind of record. The 2nd attraction was this.....the flying slim panda. So, cute and lovely, see the big sized panda on the fuselage? At the meantime, SIA Cargo and a white body UPS were departed to enhance my day of spotting.
  8. Hehe, I just put my equipments inside my business bag. Once I arrived, I get my folder with my certs. out, so that, no one knows what is inside my bag. Seth, I think today, I know what he asked me, just I don't know if he was testing me my knowledge or he is confused with the a/c types.
  9. Choong, at the moment, I don't think I should let you know which company. Haha, I don't need to tell him such, because, those A330-400/600/300/200 were all written by him on the paper.
  10. Hi guys, once again, thanks for your cheers. I have just back with my interview + my spotting session. I would say I was shocked during the interview. Not because of the questions asked by the HR girl, but those asked by the department guy. He asked me a few questions related to aviation. 1. How many seats for a B737-800?(The company's ONLY a/c type) 2. How many different type of A330-300? 3. How many seats for a A330-300? 4. If an A333 able to fly to US from HKG? or going to Europe, like FRA? (In full payload) 5. How many A332 does CX have? and also A333? The above questions were not making me shock by the following: He asked me something about A330-600? dash600? And I said to him, no such type. He accepted. After that, he asked, how about A330-400, I put him down again, but this time he was such a confirm tone that with this a/c type. I can't put him down, and I replied: Maybe I don't know with this type (something like that) Oh, god, I really don't know what was happening. Was he testing me? or he is really with such knowledge? Anyway, hope he will hire me.
  11. Thanks you my dearest bros. Hope I can nail it. Gotta bath and have my sleep before I go.
  12. Thanks Hakan, you are always kind to me. I will keep all this tips in mind and will try all my best to nail this. Hope I can bring you and others good news here.
  13. I guess I have a better and clear knowledge on this. Thanks. Hakan, I can't be relax on this chance, since I have not much interviews and I have lost some chances already.
  14. Thanks Pieter So, in simply say, S.C of an airline is to handle with the day to day and time to time movement of planes in the airport with airport authorities, from the time it comes in and the time it leaves. And that period of time is known as the slot. For a SC duty is to ensure that the company flts are able to land, and have the bay for parking. Am I correct?
  15. Thanks Hakan , seems that I am now a bit clear with the duty. Thanks so much. By the way, I still welcome any of you adding more information for me if you think I should know more detail.
  16. My dear cousin, I know there will have some sources over the internet, but I still not clear enough as most of them are just the news on the LHR case. What I need is now to clarify that before I go heading for the interview. So, all the fellows, I really need your help in associate with my net surfing.
  17. How nice!! I wish I can have it in HKG.
  18. Hi mates, I need all your help about what is the job title is about? I am now quite confusing with the job duty of the position. I was just guess that is just a post to handle flight schedules, but just now I found I am wrong. And I am going to have an interview the coming Wed morning for this position, I want to have it, as I really need a job now. So, please help me for this. Thanks so much for your even 2%
  19. After my trip to KUL, I have made a trip out to Macau with my family, needless to say that, I have taken this opportunity heading to the airport for spotting. Since I have just 1+ hour there, so I can't make much shots. First I met this representative from SIN then the BKK representative came after the SIN friend has flown all the way back to home base. STOP Please~~~~~ Meanwhile, the other subsidiary of the Thai baby has come and join the party.... Turkish friend has come as well, but he is now having out-leaving life with the Macau company. However, seems they are not really friend with each other, since.......the Thai baby leave right after the big brother arrived. What are the correlation upon the photos? (except they were all taken in MFM) The answer is: We can see those representatives in MFM in term of plane, on the other hand, we can meet representatives in MWs in term of members.
  20. Thanks Andrew. Well, I have just over heard Anthony's name through A.net as well as the forum in HK. So, which mean I don't really know who is he... Anyway, I am please to meet you, as well as other guys in the forum, again in HKG to spot together in my place. Please let me know you arrival date, and I will try all my best to manage.
  21. Very nice shots there. Love the Virgin lady and the Qatar Business Jet so much. Just wonder why the Concorde is there?
  22. Kenneth, I was not joking anyway. In order for you to have a clear picture to follow my flight directions, I am pleased to show you the map of T2, HKIA. http://www.hongkongairport.com/eng/skyplaza/floor/index.htm
  23. See how you luck will be, bro,  But once I have my free time, I give all to you, ok? For the way to land on the RWY25L of the ADC. check direct to T1, follow the way points heading to T2, climb to flight Level 1(aka Level5), turn left heading 360. Keep your present heading untill you pass the check-in counters and shop, turn right heading 090, speed 0.1knot, check direct to the escalator. keep your present speed, untill you reach flt level 2(aka Level6), turn left heading 250, and you are now clear for approach RWY25L. Descend and speed 0.05knots until 0.05DME, contact counter for ticket.
  24. Beside the introduction of different aircraft types, some basic technical theories are also included. Such as: The concept of how a jet engine works. Flaps and the wing's operation are also presented. Cross-sectional model is there to give the visitor a clear know-how to what they are flying. Except thsoe technical information, our beloved Ah mois and Cabin seats are also shown. From historical seat...... to the modern CX J seat. For the ah mois, sorry, just these, disappointed? Gift shop is there, but not really quite related to the topic, but still worth to have a walk inside. ADC guide is end......
