Putting politics aside...I think Lim Guan Eng, current CM of Penang will make a good CEO for MH.....his acumen n experience in accounting and turnin Penang around is enough....

Pieter, if they do what you mention above....we will see a London style riots happening in M'sia.....unless there is a change of gment in M'sia I dont see this happening.....although this is what it should be if they revamp

Wow!!.....I wonder if QF now feels sort of "regretful" for being the sponsor for MH into OW....looking at MH current critical condition now......

No mention about the future of MH in OW and its partnership with QF on setting up the so-called premium airline in KUL.....

He may look rich from the outside but inside (I'm just assuming), he has lotsa bank lons to pay off......he just bought over QPR to add to his portfolio. As for our local GLC link companies......they should concentrate on what they know best instead of trying to dabble in airline industry.....my personal opinion

If this happens...it will be joke of the year.....I dont think ppl (incld me) will like the name Sapphire Airlines as the new national airlines of Malaysia..... I rather put my miles into CX than SQ.... Let MH goes bust and reform/reestablish a new airline with the current employees of MH....I see that is the only way to save and revamp MH.....as no matter how much cost cutting exercise or cancellation of planes they do , MH will still be in the dumps unless somethign drastic happens....looks at Swiss today....

1) MH is just using this as an excuse 2) Once MH take delivery of the A380 they need to make more payment to Airbus. The thing now is they are broke!!!....where r they gonna find the money

This was reported earlier in SQTalk. Apparently this so called newly Enrich Gold is only valid for 1 year....hope by the time MH joins OW...these Gold holders are no longer around....

Well...can't say much bout the nasi lemak n satay since i hardly fly MH and I do agree most ppl find our nasi lemak n satay one of the best even better than the one down south.....but for the cheese omelets.....i'm sure any airline must have cook as much omletttes as MH.....Is MH cheese omelette really that good I think besides the famous nasi lemaks n satays they hav been churning out for years....they should look into revamping their menu by adding new dishes inspired by famous restaurants n local chefs......SQ and CX are one example of doing it n they r doin it quite well.....

Well if what is said about rebranding of FY into the likes of MI and KA is true, I wonder how far can FY go in terms of destination and service since they only operate on ATRs......

Mayb its just me but shouldn't this kind of new menu enchancement start at the home base....I'm sure MH can find suitable chefs/restaurants to collaborate with to give its menu a new outlook and taste...... Doing this for just PVG - KUL doesn't really bring any huge "plus points" to MH......take for exp all major carriers have major collaboration with some famous chefs/restaurants for their J or F or even Y meals....

With this JSA with BA..........one wonders if the Qantas offshoot will still take off in Msia.....

I dont think an increase in passenger tax for airports besides KUL is justifiable.....take for example Penang, the airport is a dump and many areas are old n wor off. They should only increase after the expansion and renovation of PEN is completed. If u visit PEN airport n its infamous toilets, its a disgrace. Even the baggae collection areas/belts are also showing its age....

Like i have said before, wont be suprised if MH entry into One World is put on hold due to this never ending fiasco.....
