  3. so the new A330 will have 250 seat., compare to SQ with 280 seats, there is possibily MH will have flat bed seats. like etihad A330
  4. flight duration of jakarta-yogyakarta is around 55 minutes. lets say the PTV was shut 10 minutes before landing and 10 minutes after take-off. then PTV for 35 minute is just too much, maybe dropdown TV more appropriate. u have to look at the airline side, not only pax side. btw GA will also have 2 config of the new upcoming 737-800.
  5. Azizul, maybe MH just want to keep it real. Why bother to have a PTV for flight under 1 hour? Just look at the first ppicture, no one is really using the TV. for flights under 1hr?

  11. peanuts/crisp are okay for me for flight less than an hour. croissant sandwich(cheese,chicken) must be serve for flight 1hr-2hr (replacing the hot meal) and it must be in good quality. and serve the drinks in can!!! new PTV in 738 will kept people busy. im hoping fee wifi also
  12. still no news?? damnnn,, MH have come a long way, but feel like just getting started with those new fleets,, very2 excited,, i expext new uniform and livery also. the kebaya now have awkward colour. im hoping that MH choose a more modern uniform but still has those traditional motiffs,,

  14. maybe for publicity stunt. They purposely promoting less on the route then cut the route, then blame the gov or MH like :"now u see? we cant fly to those cities that we cant even spelled, give SYDNEY!". LOL

  16. i like A330 better than 777 for their 2-4-2 seat arrangement. Cant wait for them. Dont forget MH has 10 options of A330 that likely to replace 777-200. i think A330 is going to takeover all route to aussie,asia,mid-east. South africa maybe? hmm
  17. hmm,, redang runway is less than 1000m while ATR need 1290 for takeoff. full seats even more, its weird

  19. berjaya air seems get less spotlight than other airline such as firefly. Kinda like no ambition also. Are there any news about them? And how was berjaya's seat-filling to koh samui after FY enter the route? Last time they ordered ATR-72 to replace the Dash 7, but any runway of tioman, pangkor, and redang has length of less then 1000 meter, even pangkor has only 792 m (according to wiki). fyi, ATR take off run is 1290 m. SO, is berjaya doing okay right now? What if firefly enter their route (tioman, etc), will berjaya strong enough to compete(with those expensive fares)? Lets discuss ..

  21. are there any news or photos about the new interior of 737-800? i hope the PTV has a remote control just like avianca's A320. Garuda's 737-800 doesnt have remote control and the seat colour is weird,
  22. yeah 737-400 isnt efficient and i dont think they will used it for a long time. it soon will be replaced believe me. as what airasia and lionair did in the beginning. Airasia just need a competitor, whether its under firefly or not, under MH or not. even singapore has two LCC. malaysia has like 5-6 times population of spore.
  23. well its my point of view as a general civilian, a passenger who want to fly cheaper. firefly existence in lcct will drop air ticket, isnt that good? rite now airasia is alone in lcct, they charge around 60-70 percent of MH's fare as 40-50 percent it used to be. airasia think that as long as we charge lower than MH we'll be find.
  24. that is right,, airasia nowadays is not as cheap as it used to be, i booked airasia ticket to pnompenh and its like 20% more expensive than ever, GO FIREFLY!! KICK AIRASIA OUT!!
