  1. 9M-AJA received an updated livery the Longjack Orang Kampung livery. Port side, starboard, the earlier one 9M-AJW, Sustainable ASEAN Tourism
  2. SQ can't opt for the second option as MH no longer doing BKI-SIN direct. only via KUL. but on the bright side, with Scoot join this market, maybe we can have chance to see low fare ticket for this sector.
  3. today, 2019.12.03 consider is another new chapter for BKI as finally Scoot is flying her from SIN. to replace Silk Air operation on this route. and gratefully, we got invited by MAHB Social Media team to do some coverage on behalf of. after a small amazing race session around the terminal, walk & run from one end to another end, eventually we settle down with our access pass and reach at the venue, Gate A2. they had done setup everything and test run once, before the aircraft arrive. *thankfully for the slight delay departure in SIN (sorry for the passengers), or else we will just simply missed it. obviously, today the ground staffs is more than usual one. and Scoot ground operation is appointed to POS Aviation, same as earlier Silk Air. finally, she's approaching us, here it is, 9V-TRD, a 8years old A320-232. first this aircraft operate by Tigerair and later transfer to Scoot after both company merged together in mid 2017. with a slight delays, the nose able to remain dry. but still manage to make a welcoming arch for her a rather busy ramp, no chance for a clear shot later she depart back to SIN as TR491 with POB112?
  4. meanwhile, today also the first day JinAir deploy their Triple Seven on daily basis (until further notice), for their daylight flights, LJ63. today we have HL7734, 777-2ER anyway, the biggest 734 spotted ever. it's glad to see Triple back in BKI in daytime. hopefully it will be sustain.
  5. today, 2019.12.02 another remarkable day in BKI Aviation field. Silk Air 9V-SLP A320-233 operate the last MI392 flight to BKI. Vacating runway via Foxtrot taxi to terminal via taxiway Charlie, Juliet to Bay 2 Alpha there's lack of ceremony at the Apron for the flight, but soon after all pax disembark, their staff start to be wild from their own management teams to their ground handlers, Pos Aviation to AVSec's and she ready for return flight after around one hour on ground turnaround as MI394 back to SIN Bye Silk Air... it might be full of joys and tears for their staff today. and yes, tomorrow we will welcoming the new comer, The Scoot, whom replacing these MI flight after today.
  6. nice shots there~ it seems MKZ quite a good airport to spot special livery as can get both side easily. 👍
  7. today MH2614 upgraded to A330-300 by 9M-MTN
  8. a short spotting session today, for the AirAsia 9M-AJA carrying the latest livery, Longjack Orang Kampung Livery Arriving as AK5106 from KUL *toplit* after the arrival, she deployed to TWU as rescue flight. 9M-AGW grounded in TWU and cannot perform the second flight from BKi to TWU. back from TWU as AK6267 *overcast - raining in background* -port side -starboard side and finally depart back to KUL as AK5107, after 3hrs delayed
  9. luckily she leave after i back in town. Czech Republic ACJ319 2801 ready for departure to Vietnam early rotation, which is normally the height of ATR at the spot where normal A320/B738 rotation point. and she welly blend into the weather. :dirnks:
  10. on last Sunday, 03nov, we got a false alarmed by the IL76, which give us a hope of she will depart in the noon after hours of waiting, she reply us, "Happy Sunday" 😂 only close up shots taken few traffics taken while waiting for her, shot more in day time before she change back on night flight the grass is too wild anyway
  11. im not really paying much attention on the pie of marketing, but at least they doing some good work on the "unique routes" which still under protection by the government or say, Limit by the infrastructure. BKI-LDU is monopolized, unless OD eventually come step a foot in Borneo Land. SDK-TWU via LDU also doing good, until AK eventually got the rights to fly this route. needless to mentioned about the DHT flights, as mostly wont surplus any cost of the flight, even a "full" flight, especially flights via KUD. as of promotion, IIRC the government do not give any green light to do promotion before January. but at least now, they doing flat rate for SDK-LDU at RM68/pax, which is around 30-40% of the full-Y fares. (for 20mins flight )
  12. im not sure about other routes, but from my observation MASWings actually increasing the BKI-LDU frequency. and mostly it can be like 70-90% loads. SDK-LDU still a bit low, but still manage to secure at 60-70% on my flight, last week. another flight i notice is BKI-MULU on ATR72, the load is like 50%?
  13. some common traffics taken on 27Oct
  14. http://www.malaysianwings.com/forum/index.php?/topic/21221-bkiwbkk-2018/&do=findComment&comment=379940
  15. well... flight cancelled and after reschedule, eventually reach the destination and missed the event. enjoy it ya next time. i skipped
  16. 9M-LGC on their Inaugural flights to Sandakan as BI6813 on 28Oct. but unfortunately i missed out the most important part of the event, the water canon salute ceremony due to my earlier flight got cancelled due to technical issues (wiring problem, which took half day for the identify it and another few hours to repair. 9M-MSE however re-certify to fly after 11hrs AOG in BKI). :drinks:
  17. due to the unforeseen circumstances, i got a short spotting session to spot from the terminal in the morning of 28Oct, before i decided to walk out from airside back on landside another shots of AGB, the 2nd NEO 9M-SSC, off for her flight to Kudat and Sandakan 9M-NEY layover after the morning arrival 9M-MWE being towed out to the bay 13 from hangar to prepare for her next flight to Mulu.
  18. isnt early this year or late last year also have such day-light flights?
  19. today we got a special livery of Jin Air 738 visit us in day light HL-7564 painted in NINIZ-Kakao Friends Livery, arriving as LJ65 and later depart back to ICN as LJ64 and finally, AK deploy their Neo to be based in BKI for the first time first we have 9M-RAK, since 19Oct Second is 9M-AGB, since 25Oct and third is 9M-RAH, Since 26Oct. But not captured her today
  20. im not sure how's the immigration counter over KLIA2, but from my recent flight, week ago, i notice that the immigration counter is upgrading here in BKI T1, from the common-bulky one counter left right 2 window, to a rather simple 1 counter 2 window front-right and back-left. didn't physically count eventually may increase how many officer/window. but visually is improving.
  21. basically BKI is lack of International gates at night when 10pm-12am. other than this hour i barely can notice all gate2-6 can fully utilized. remote bay is quite an instant rescue plan.
  22. as of my last updates Ak currently based 9 aircraft in BKI, and additional will come maybe. in T2, only have 9 bay, which one bay reserved for raya. another bay for other movement like Private jets, off-shores hellicopter, military. unless at least 2-3 of their aircraft must be flying somewhere
  23. is needed T2 to accommodate AK volume, i think they need double up the current one, or 2/3 of T1.
