  1. I think it's more than just that. It means we are not quite there yet in comparison to BKK and SIN. The airport may be profitable but not our economy. If our currency will be more stable CX won't stop flying to KUL. FYI, KA serves secondary cities and that shows how unimportant KUL is to CX. U may argue KA is CX vv but truth is we're secondary.
  2. Poor KUL. And MAHB still boasts about how well they're doing or have achieved. Ya, they managed to get Himalayan United Bangladesh Uzbekistan and other third world countries carrier.
  3. When will be CX last flight to KUL? Now we got KA and CX and I thought CX's metal will stop flying to KUL no?
  4. Well then where does Norwegian stand in SIN in the face of SQ (3 daily?) BA EK QR EY TK? Only time will tell?
  5. If that's the case then Norwegian is in a even bigger trouble operating into SIN as the competition is even fiercer ex SIN. As the Ryanair boss once said, be big or go home. Here's the thing, every destination is not profit guaranteed even some popular domestic and regional destinations. If ur logic is true then they're in deep trouble flying Osaka-Honolulu as the Japanese and American's airlines will kill them. But they're willing to risk it despite the known outcome. What is the distinction then between flying Kix-Hnl and Kul-Lgw? Are they not equally risky?
  6. It looks like D7 indecisiveness has cost them a lot. All talks but no action. And wrong aircraft at the wrong time, A339 can never reach London comfortably from KUL. The deferral of A359 has now proved to be an unwise decision. The cost of overly cautious.
  7. They can have all bells and whistles but if they don't seek to improve the way they manage the traffic flow then all these new equipment mean NOTHING at all! Perhaps it's time for them to be sent to overseas for training. Their radar vectoring, though much better than it used to be, still have plenty of room to improve and their proactive-ness is almost zero! Are they too proud to learn from others or what? I just don't understand.
  8. I think Malindo needs a name and livery change if they want to be successful despite the fact it's Malaysian registered. Malindo just doesn't sound posh enough. And people will always link them with Indonesia which has a bad aviation record.
  9. Cathay Dragon is like Silkair. Heard they serve better food than CX. It's a shame CX cannot sustain their Malaysian operation after having served the country for several decades.
  10. Sound like a good deal. When? Btw, I've flown with them a couple of times to Europe. Good service and food.
  11. D7 has never flown to Gatwick, has it? I suppose you mean Stansted.
  12. That's because the booking was based on A320 total seat available months or years ago. The A330 is a last minute decision.
  13. Which explains why MH keeps losing money or don't make much profit given their cost and all that. Good for consumers though. I won't mind flying with 'em and get free meal.
  14. Since MAS is going to take back its rural flight, I was wondering what would happen to FAX's pilots after the takeover. Would they be transferred to AirAsia then? I'd appreciate if someone here can shed a light.
