Hi All, Good news I secured a F seat on a one way upgrade from LAX-KUL!!! Bought a D ticket and used 50000 miles to upgrade to F I know i know it's a lot of miles just for the one sector but i thoguht why not give it a try as i don't think down the line i would have many opportunities to give F a go Also it's a longggggggg flight. Was either going to do this leg in F or my other SYD-KUL, KUL-SYD in F. My question is which seats best in F on the 744? Or is there no bad seat? I have booked seat 2A for now And what should i expect in terms of service I believe i will be getting 2 different set of crews? Asit goes LAX-TPE-KUL. Wondered any members here has done this flight in F on the new retrofitted F class? One question i couldnt get an answer on is whether i can qualify to get a limo to pick me up from my hotel in LA and drop me off at LAX? Comments appreciated Cheers, Kenn.

Hi Keith, Guess what. I purchased the MH/VS RTW this morning. Had to pay or not would have been cancelled. So i guess i'm the last one to ticket this! And you guessed it, paper tickets!

What MH needs now is to join an alliance! i.e. Star or Oneworld! But i doubt its going to happen Hopefully its not Skyteam

Hi, True. I actually travelled in Y for SYD-KUL but the check in was so empty i was at the Y class check in! So i didn't use it. And i didn't even use the phone check in.

you need 25000 miles. i did syd-kul-lhr-kul-syd in business D class and got silver. But silver is nothing special!

Hi Keith, Yep. In fact all my segments are going to VS... Including my MH ones. As if i dont put the MH ones with the VS Flying Club account i won't have enough tier points to go for gold with just 2 returns on the SIN run. Yeah, thats the downside I will do 2 returns from KUL. i.e. KUL-SIN-KUL-SIN-KUL

Nice to hear Will it be mostly jap FA's on MH88 or will it have some locals too? Also is this flight busy/full?
