Weather was crappy this morning. Arrived at 7.30am. Followed marshal towards Hangar 3. Now is to wait for her test flights; hopefully in better lighting conditions.

Bluey Niner Niner Three Niner from Melbourne. VH-XFA She arrived at 2.25pm local time with overcast conditions. If she delays by another hour or so, she would have bathe in good sunlight.

My lunch appointment was with this Virgin... She did not appear in Flight Radar... and only got to know she was clear for landing while at 4 miles finals. Virgin was not able to taxy to Hangar 2 as the Saudi was on its way out. Atc cleared her for Rwy33 as a RMAF herc was at Kilo doing her compass swing. Rotation point was before Yankee. Powerful!

Thank you guys for the infos. MQE ferry flight delayed for around 2 hours... Main target. Ex-ANA which has been kept for so so long turned into beautiful Saudi. Atlanta 26 Papa. Departed Rwy 33; rotated near Transmile hangar. By the time it reaches water pipe spot...so high. Went a few rounds around Andaman Sea, then a few rounds around Malacca Straits and after 4 hours of test flight... Pilot request for reject take off at 80 knots. Thanks to a lorry driver, we were allowed to climb on top of his lorry to get this elevated shot. Can imagine the view of those staying at the shop houses' top floor.

Happy 7th Anniversary to MalaysianWings. How time flies. It was a great fun meeting you all in BKK and special thanks to Prompong for hosting us and the delicious Thai-Chinese food. The weather was pretty much overcast with some heavy showers here and there during the weekend. On the first day and as Flee mentioned, some of us went out 'under the rain' to shoot the African carriers. This is what we got for Ethiopian. On the second day, the weather was almost the same and we had a lazy, relaxed spotting afternoon. Most of the time, we will just sit down and shoot as our butts were too heavy to lift up. But, when there is interesting traffic approaching, we will dash to the end of the balcony. By the third day, the sun came out and greeted us farewell whilst we were packing for KUL. To further confirm Waiping's request, the Skyteam plane was China Airlines (B-18311). It was formerly the sweet plane. Come afternoon as we leave for the airport, the weather started to be gloomy but it did not last long. Towards 2.30pm, the skies cleared. I will load more pictures later. Haven't quite charged my batteries. As for the next anniversary, where should we go?

Dunno when she will check out. Good luck catching this rare Russian bird.

Some shots taken a few days ago and today Don't see this fella around often. The main target for the past few days. White Bird 741. It could be mistaken as Rice Bird, Thai Bird over the radio with heavy Thai accent. Suppose to do a test flight, but only did a high speed test. Hopefully she have her test flight tomorrow.

The A340 has become rare aircraft to KUL these days. I think only Kuwait Airways and once a while Cathay and China Airlines would send theirs. And what fate is to become of these two? At least these are the remaining Firefly's jet for Nanning and Christmas Island charters
