Seng Lim 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2007 Just received the information from today's newsletter, available in LCCT now: http://www.airasia.com/site/en/page.jsp?reference=kci Again, it's full of restrictions (like their Web check in): Available 1-6 hours before departure. Domestic Flights Only. No check in luggage. Not applicable for those opted for Xpress Boarding.

Mohd Firdaus Bolong 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2007 Dunno if anybody has mentioned this but during my last visit to LCCT I saw some machines about the size of ATM machines, which belongs to the Air Asia. It has barcode scanner, boarding pass printer and luggage tag printer. I suspected they're the machines that AK passengers will use to self check-in in the very near future. Yes, I tried it for my KUL-TWU flight last Friday. Everything went fine and when I wanted to print boarding pass, nothing came out. Maybe somebody forgot to re-stock the thermal paper. +++

Naim 6 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 Then what happened Naim? Called them to reload thermal paper?? I continued at a manned counter. I guess I was unlucky to choose that particular machine. Going to LGK day after tomorrow, so will try the machine again. It's quite easy and friendly, touch-screen some more. +++
Mohd Firdaus Bolong 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 Naim, after strapping your luggage with the tag, where do you send them???To the manned counter or is there any designsted place to put your luggage??
Seng Lim 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 Again, as mentioned in previous post http://www.malaysianwings.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=5899 & airasia kiosk check in link http://www.airasia.com/site/en/page.jsp?reference=kci Kiosk Check In only available for those 'WITHOUT' check in luggage. What Naim has mentioned about the 'thermal paper' is the 'Boarding Pass' not the luggage tag. If you have check in luggage you have to check in and Q at the counter, cannot use the kiosk.
