The rest flew straight back to their base... Migs departed Subang around 14:00 someting. Hope next year the SU-30 "will" be around

Chapfun 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2005 Fendy and TK, Thanks for the compliments. Yeah was at the factory site on Sat, Sun as well as yesterday. Had to do with the location as my dingy camera doesn't have a kick a$$ zoom so had I gone to the spot in front of the restaurants, I would only have some tiny planes! Was looking forward to taking the Hawks and Hornets during their landing approach but as as you said, they flew back to their base. Dunno whether you realised it but right after the Migs landed, a USAF C-130 Pave Low took off. Only manage to get a silhoutte shot as well as rear shot though. Ricky Tiong 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2005 Not much, but I think our Air Force can beat the New Zealand Air Force...... 6374[/snapback] You're right Capt. Since the NZ govt decided to scrap the remaining Skyhawks a few years ago, now all that are left are a few Hercules and 757. Before you know it, one of the Hercules or 757 will be stuck on foreign soil with technical problems... And Chapfun, great shots too!
