Recommended Posts

On a side note, the prince's yatch "Tits" along with 2 speedboats named "Nipples 1" and "Nipples 2" were briefly mentioned in the court papers.

Small country, sure big ride :good:

At its peak, the Sultan's Flight (the name of the organisation managing the fleet - tech crew is from Lufthansa, and fleet is maintained by Lufthansa Technik) had a fleet of 2 more A340-200s, at least 2 GVs (one, V8-008, was yellow throughout, including the wings) and another 747-SP (V8-AC1). These are IN ADDITION to the existing 747-430 (V8-ALI, named after Omar ALI Saifuddin, the present Sultan's late father) and in BI civilian colours 767-200ER (V8-MHB) and A340-200 (V8-BKH, presumably shortform for Bolkiah, the present sultan's name) (and the stored-in-Hamburg A340-8000, V8-AC3). Prince Jefri also had his own A310-300 (then V8-DPD, then P4-DPD, "D"uli "P"engiran "D"igadong, his royal title). During the financial crisis era, the two A340-200s went to Kingdom Holdings of S.Arabia and King Abdullah of Jordan.

Before this, Sultan's Flight had a 727-200 (V8-BG1, V8-HM2) and a 727-100 (this one later went to Sultan Pahang, and labelled as Royal Pahang, 9M-SAS, presumably short for Sultan Ahmad Shah.)

Btw, the Sultan of Johor has his own G-IV, 9M-ISJ and I think also a Citation.

Thanks Mushrif. I found this one from Airliners.net

This is the 3rd Boeing 757-2M6 for Royal Brunei. Unlike previous rego of her sisterships, which is V8-RBA and V8-RBB. This one took up the V8-HB1 registration instead. Instead it is V8-HB1. HB1 = Hassanah Bolkiah No.1? A little later it did become V8-RBC.

I think this was his private ride until he got bored of it. Then this bird went to Kazakhstan's government as their ride.

Interestingly V8-HB1 was on a previous 727-2L4 Adv.

Any photos of 9M-SAS and 9M-ISJ? Even the Hornbill Skyways Citation X was also used by H.E. The Governor of Sarawak.

Indonesia's newest Presidential Aircraft, B737-8U3 BBJ2 (N454BJ) is currently en-route to Indonesia from the U.S.:

Interesting; so that means GA will no longer flying the Presidential aircraft anymore?
